It does not affect the game play of course but it affects the whole rhetoric of "realism" that the game offers. If the game wants to be realistic, don't propagate with unrealistic things. You might see that gay flag at an Arsenal game but you won't see it in Eastern or Southern Europe. I doubt you'd even see it in Germany or Swedish games where this things aren't as frowned upon as in the rest of Europe.

So if the game preaches realism, you cannot have more lgbt flags than team flags on a stadium. It's blatant propaganda for no reason, that adds nothing to the game.

They do have a late game trigger to "boost attendance", which does affect your finances positively, where a random player (not existing one), comes out of the closet and unveils he is gay, ao you have the gay community supporting you and coming to watch your games..... I mean, that's plain ridiculous. It'd only work like this in the MLS perhaps.

Is there any reason whatsoever to include this in a game that has been very successful, albeit a monopoly, for years? It just reeks of unnecessary propaganda.

Yah fair enough that def isnt a reflection of reality so to add a feature like that in a sim is strange i get ur point there.

Going on this PC in videogames bullshit, I was playing AC yesterday, and theres a mission where you save a wolf. It's a female wolf, one of the children said it got lost looking for her husband, and then one kid said "maybe she is looking for her wife". I cried laughing, bit now I understand that wolves can also be gay.

Like Brehme said, Football Manager is a bit jarring.

With TLOU2 it was a problem for some people because they all expected to play the main character from TLOU. The bold move was making the story feel different, playing a different character (two of them, basically). Maybe TLOU is a bit too popular for a move like that, but that is why this is even more impressive to me. It took guts. After you deal with the initial shock, you see that the first game really finished Joels story. Now I don't think they always knew what story to make for TLOU2, but they did well enough.

Still, Rockstar understood their audience a lot better when they made RDR2 than what Naughty Dog did from TLOU to TLOU2. RDR was a cool story, but RDR2 was a lot more grounded and realistic, even tho it didn't have to be. But it worked beautifully. While with TLOU2 is kinda even more character driven now, a real drama. Maybe we aren't used of stories where we don't have different choices to choose from or just the characters weren't as engaging for some. Still think Naughty Dog did something good.

Cheap, lazy money grab by swapping gender/races with very little ORIGINAL content. Essentially same reason why people didn't like female Ghostbusters. Why would put thought and effort into something original when you can just swap genders or races, and call everyone bigoted when they point it out? If they made it a DLC, then no one would complain.

Then again EA does the same shit every year without even swapping anything, and they seem to be doing fine. So I guess it works.

I love The Witcher and have massive respect for Projekt Red guys but considering how many times they have postponed the release date of Cyberpunk I think it would be naive to expect a product polished to the standards of Witcher series. Take into account that they are developing for consoles primarily, that development occured in the middle of console generation swap etc. I'll wait for the inevitable definitive edition, because while I have obvious doubts about the launch of the game, I'm certain that they will patch it properly with time.

It's kind of pointless to compare Bethesda to Projekt Red, they make similar types of games but are on extreme opposite ends of the spectrum - Bethesda has absolutely horrible standards for glitches and bugs, to the degree that they managed to convince an entire generation of people that that's simply how games have to be due to "big scale of world" or whatever bullshit. And then you have the super pedantic and scrupulous Projekt Red. Both are so far from average, the comparison is absolutely unfair.

We're hoping the postponement fixed more or less the main things. I don't believe the game should be played on last gen, but the new gen system will get the last gen version first and get updated for free for more Ray Tracing and efx like that.

Also, I'd wait 2, 3 weeks before playing it just in case. Remember how they added free DLC quests with the first few updates? I want as much content as possible

Finished TLOU2 yesterday, I started playing it just last week so I was already fed up with the hype and cries of it being the best game in history. But for me really it’s not even close to top 50. I agree with Dax this is one of the most fucken stupidest stories I’ve ever seen. It just doesn’t make fucken sense to me in so many ways.

Well the coming paragraphs are spoilers and I don’t remember what’s the “spoiler” templates is so don’t read it if you haven’t played the game yet.

A lot of scenarios in the game doesn’t make sense really, I mean why would Abby take all her friends in a suicide mission to kill Joel? It’s not a fucken field trip as your friends might get all killed because of your personal revenge for daddy, heck you should have gone there alone with a mask on your face like Batman to protect the ones you love you know? But nah, I’m bringing all aboaaard so my enemies recognize our faces and come after us to kill me and my whole friends when we’re done killing their friend Joel. And at the theater she stands there like an idiot pointing the gun at Ellie and saying: You killed all of my friends!? Well Dooooooh! Ofcourse you stupid fucken bitch she killed all of your friends, but it never occurred to you cause it’s your fucken fault??



Ellie travels for months alone exhausted and injured to find and kill Abby, she finds her pinned to a pillar all served to be murdered, but nah let’s cut her loose now let’s escape together to an island and do lesbians shit. Oh wait! I can’t let you go let’s fight bitch! Now they start fighting and it’s fucken intense, I give the fight 10/10 tbh, but nah, I wont kill you Abbs I was just kidding, now go, I’ll catch you later sexy! You know I just came all the way here to get my fingers cut off so I won’t play guitar again, no hard feelings love. Go now and take care of your friend! Oh wait is your friend gay too? Oh shit if you told me from the begging we wouldn’t have fought at all. That’s awesome! I bet that fish in the water is also gay, I love it.

I mean the genius director doesn’t show why did she let her go? It’s not convincing you know what are the reasons? You’ve probably killed over a 100 souls to get to her for 15 hours of the video game then you let her go. What a sudden moment of gayness? You’ve grown soft for a second after being molded by toughness since you were just a kid?

Another thing is why exactly should 50% of the leader roles in the game be gay? I mean I’m not talking political bs here as it’s blatantly obvious, but I’m still discussing story wise, because if THE LAST OF US are most of them gay that doesn’t help humanity to survive anymore does it? When we’re getting lower in numbers for the last of us killing each other till the last man/woman standing besides clickers and what not, it’s the only time in history to be obligated to reproduce as nature intended to you know.. make babies? Alot of them? Save humanity from fucken extinction? Any of that ring a bell? No? Well if that scenario ever happened it won’t be spores or clickers to wipe out the last of us, actually the last of us would have doomed mankind for good and caused the final race extinction because of their stupid selfish reasons.

The last thing about the story that I don’t fucken get at all us why is she’s so mad Joel saved her life? Don’t you wana live bitch? “My life would have a meaning, soup opera crying “ well it wouldn’t make any difference to you when you’re dead, a meaning to who? To the ones you survived perhaps, but for you? You’d be bones under the dirt, all of a sudden you’re being suicidal to save mankind? nothing would have made a difference for you that you’re dead. “Eww don’t talk to me you saved my life that’s disgusting!” For fucks sake man talking about unnecessary drama.

Even though he was dead early in the game, Joel character is/was the only true well built character in the game. Since day one he’s an asshole, his daughter bought him a watch in his birthday and he wasn’t a bit excited about it, you know from his reaction and convos he’s a tough motherfucker a selfish bastard and at the same time a good man with good intentions. Everything he said and everything he done and even when dying he remained the same. The bad things about his personality and the good traits he had for the people surrounding his life surely made it hard for them to love him, his selfishness and his way of not accepting any way but his (his constant arguments with his brother and friends), the way he only thought about himself and couldn’t bare to lose “another daughter “ even if the stake of humanity depends on it, but that’s what he is. You’d still love him or hate him but without a doubt he was the only true well built character in the game.

My overall score for the game is
6.5/10 (Would play only once)
Pros: Good graphics and game world, actually stunning to say the least.
Cons: Poor story and scenario writing.

My score for the first Last of us was 10/10. (Top 10 in history easily). Things declined very bad in the second one, very disappointed as a TLOU fan. All that hype about the game being the best in history is really getting on my nerves. Has the gamers and so called critics went into shitty decline that much? The public taste is becoming fucken bizarre, at least for my taste.

If the Joel choice was the end of the game instead of the begging it would have been a immensely better game.

I agree the fight at the end makes no sense. I don’t care that the characters are gay. Abbys dad was basically the the best doctor in the world and was going to potentially cure the outbreak..... they explain why they joined. The Hispanic dude is her best friend and her ex Bf was her dads #1 guy. I didn’t mind the suicide mission thing. They were all part of the fireflies that Joel basically eradicated in part 1

About Abby like they try to redeem her by the end but you hate her so much in the 1st hour that it’s like fk that and this game

They tried to make her Negan and no one likes him either.

Also how linear the story is was dispointing. I am playing Days gone which plays similar and is much better yet is pretty much hated by critics because the Main dude looks like a douche and isn’t gay haha

I got a very strong pc back during the summer, been playing with a few high quality games but nothing too crazy. I decided to buy Forza Horizon 4 as it was 50% off and I haven't played a racing game since Gran Turismo 4.

My God this game is absolutely beautiful, I can't get over how great it is and how much detail and effort the developers put into it. There's just so many features and things to do, it's really fun. Even the soundtrack is really nice. I've never been into a racing game as much as I am enjoying this right now.

Same I haven't played a racing game in ages and since I just got the new Xbox with the gamepass I tried FH4 and at first I was enjoying it but it got repetitive real quick, you just race and I don't know if it's against AI or real people but I'm pretty sure it's AI so it makes it less interesting. One of my biggest gripes is that there's no fast-travel, at least not in the beginning and I hated driving from one location to the next just to start a race, every single time.

What it taught me is that racing/car games are just not for me really. On the other hand I am enjoying Ori and sadly bought fifa and started playing UT again (having fun with it and playing with a different mindset than before) though fifa on xbox is a different experience on PS really, noticeable how much less people play it and more hardcore players too.
