Yesterday it was in the news, now it's official, Inter want's Moses

With a move for Spinazzola blocked, Inter are pushing for Victor Moses. The player is open to return under Conte's stewardship and Fenerbahce are not opposed to his sale, as he only collected 6 appearances so far this season. Chelsea, who owns Moses' playing rights, are open to letting the player move on loan after initial demands of 10 million euros for a definitive transfer. Progress for a player that Conte knows well (78 appearances, 8 goals and 8 assists during Conte's time at Chelsea).

I thought it couldnt get worse after Young.

Only at Inter, we fix problems with problems. We fix problems by getting worse players.

100 % sure it is Conte's input on mercato since he has fetishes on his former players and average hardworking players. I cannot see how Moses is better than Lazaro. And should he join us, he will enter the clan of mediocre wingbacks consisting of Candreva, Asamoah, Biraghi, Young, and Di Marco. Imagine what an eyesore to watch their names on the bench list and we realize we cannot utilise anyone of them to break the stalemate like against Lecce.

Great example of giving the coach too much leeway.

With the exception of Eriksen, every single target of ours this January has been either a former Conte player or a former Conte target. That is just fucking sad.

The guy's stubbornness is fucking unreal. I mean, we all knew what Conte was like before getting him, and we all knew his history and the risks. But I refuse to believe that with their existing relationship, that Marotta can't do more to make Conte more agreeable in some areas, such as transfer strategy.

He has to know we don't have PSG money. He has to know we have to balance out short-term with long-term objectives. He has to know that our club strategy for winning is a step-by-step incremental process. Marotta, as his "friend" and ally, needs to make sure Conte understands this fully.

I appreciate that he's a die-hard winner whose desire to win is hardwired into his very existence. I appreciate that he's trying to raise the standards of this club. But I do not want more Conte meltdowns like after Dortmund. And I do not agree with Conte that the way to fix these problems is to buy the likes of Young, Matic, Llorente, Moses and Vidal.

It's not even about Lazaro personally. It's the principle which is so wrong: investing €22m in a young and talented player, abandoning him after 6 months and replacing him with an old and injured, expensive former player. (Victor Moses earns €3.5m btw). It's just so against how we should be working. This is not a sustainable way of operating.

You gotta be shitting me. No way Moses can make 3.5m€!? I surely hope this is just a loan without any strings attached.

This is crazy and or hopefully a distraction.. How will Moses who isnt playing at the Turkish league due to injury/performance come here to make any kind of impact. We need an upgrade not a sub for a sub standard starter.

Meh, we're targetting Moses because we don't have money to spend it's pretty simple.

Because we just spent 22m on a wingback who wasnt used much to be already given up on.

When we had money to spend, we spent it on Lazaro. who we are seeking to loan out.

This has fail written all over, and Moses is merely a band-aid on this wound.

Loan with a €10m option? :palm::palm::palm: I can only hope that Marotta has no intention of taking up that option, and that he has a secret deal in place to get Meunier for free in the summer. Only then will this make any sense.

This mercato is rapidly going downhill, just like our performance yesterday. Eriksen would be awesome obviously, and I understand why we are interested in Giroud. Even the Young transfer I can make peace with (since we cannot afford Alonso or someone of that level). But Moses is a step too far when it comes to band-aid solutions. We don't need so many band-aids. There is no way these guys will help us win a Scudetto this season, and they will be a drag on our mercato in the summer due to the wage bill. What the fuck is Marotta thinking - he needs to sit down with Conte and lay down the plan.

Lets buy few players, but only quality players. This is a classic case of "less is more".
