You have to understand, I loved Materazzi to death. Sounds weird now, but I swear I really did.

Two things made me hate him: That unprofessional punch to Cirillio (Interista never do such things) and the little stint he pulled half season.

I know how you understood it to be Frisko, but I understood it as an egoistic move by a guy who should thank God day and night he has a job with a top team like Inter.

usually club fans can spot who is underrated best.
javier zanetti is definetly underrated on global level, same as cordoba and cambiasso.
at barca...all the talk might be about ronaldinho, puyol and eto'o, but I say without Deco our team lacks a leading brain and Marquez is our best defender.
Zambrotta is also the main drive at Juve..
emerson is also quiet underrated..
same as xabi alonso..

I think the most underrated player ever award should go to Didi Hamann and Javier Zanetti though..it's a close call between these two and I can't decide. I think on global level, both were in the last years the two most underrated players.

matrix for me right now is (with cordoba) our most reliable defender.

I just got alot of faith in him, i say this cause Samuel isnt ready and Cordoba just got back from injury.

Matrix was amazing at the end of the season and in these preseason games/CLQualifying his been great.

He was asked would he leave when Samuel came he said,

"no, i adore these fans to much to leave them, i will fight for my place in the team"
