I think it's important to have this thread, sometimes banners are shown from Ultras and we don't know what they mean or who they are too.

I am sure people on FI have knowledge on that.

I will start off with what I know about some gemellati's (fan friendships) in Italy:

Parma:

Friends: Bordeaux, Empoli, Sampdoria, Spezia

Friends: Catanzaro, Livorno, Torino, Verona

Here some info from a Viola site:

Catanzaro

The twinship with the Calabrians dates back to the early '80s. Frequently, the Ultras Catanzaros are at important Fiorentina games, sitting in the Vecchia Guardia section

Livorno

The friendship with the Leghorns, which spans many years, was made official in 1998. Since then, there have been frequent trips by both sets of fans to home and away games

Torino

The twinship connecting us with the Granatas is deeply rooted and has become stronger over time. We have always been united by similar outlooks and a deep-seated rivalry with the Juve.

Verona

The twinship with the Veronese is very old. In fact, it dates back to the early '70s and has always been a very strong bond that has succeeded in going beyond (a rarity) political ideas.

According to that site our(Inter) 's only friends are Lazio and Bayern munchen/monaco?? didn't we were friends with bayern.

I don;t think it's true. Milan has many friends. And Juve-Parma are friendly clubs.
Also we have a friendship(i think) with Chievo. Coz they are Hellas Veronas biggest enemies. And with Torino fans for having to tolerate with garbage in their town!

Unless in Italy, clubs have nothing to do with their fans.... since it's about the fans

I don't want to be friends with people who reminds of Nazi. Nazio is a disgusting club and their fans are even more disgusting. They are Freaking raciest. :frustrat:

The only one who can be friends with Nazio is some of our ultras. Whose political opinions are doubtful?

I don't think I have to explain why I don't see Bayern as a friendly club

It is certainly Bayern Munich, and our gemellagio with Lazio is true and our only remaining one left, obviously this is to do with political ideas.

As to the suggestion that Parma and Juve are "friends", this can be perfectly true. What happens on the pitch doesn't affect the relationship between Ultras. Otherwise we would be bitter bitter enemies with Lazio.

We have no relationship with Chievo Verona, we used to have one with Hellas but that stopped when a new "greedy" leader came into the picture of their Curva. Chievo have probably the worst Ultras in Italy.

I take Inter, Roma, and Juve..

Inter: friends:
Sampa, Lazio, Bari, Udinese
enemies: Milan, Juve, Bologna, Roma, Ascoli

Roma: Bologna

enemies: Lazio, Hellas, Inter, Atalanta, Juve, sampa, lecce

Juve: Avellino , Siena
enemies: every other team in Italy...

btw. there's also a friendship between Lazio and Real's Ultras Sur..

while Boixos Nois(barca hardcore fan group) apparently have beef with Juve's Ultras group...(what are they called? Drugis? Duckies? Does Juve even have fans??)

however, it's not that I personally like Boixos....the only decent Barca support group is Sang Culé

Never heard about the apparent friendship with fans of Avellino/Siena and Juventus, they have no friends.

And yes, there is a friendship between Irriducibili Lazio and Ultras Sur Real Madrid, once against because of political beliefs.

Juve's group is called Drughi, and it's truly awful. Boixos Nois are pretty damn terrible too. They have Ultras on both Curvas because they can't make up what they are, normal, lefties, skinheads! They never organise their own coreographies either, the ones at the Nou Camp are all payed for by the club itself.

well....don't shoot the messenger..I just quoted the book that did research on this issue. it's 6 years old though...and there's a supposed friendship between Siena and Juve.

but curvas, from what I know, have become less political nowadays. even former political curvas like Fiorentina and Sampa have become apolitical. Livorno is still political(and I truly adore their ultras)..

And something I will never understand is why Inter ultras are supposed to be rightwing. Do they dig the times of Ambrosia Inter??
