I remember UEFA will impose "locally trained player" rule this coming season?

If I can recall correctly, we need to register 6 locally trained player out of our 20-25 A List. 3 of the 6 must be INTER CLUB TRAINED.

On top of my head I can think of:

Club trained: Balotelli, Orlandoni
Associate trained: Toldo, Matrix

How will this rule distrub our coming season's transfer? Who should we sign to fill up the quota?

Discuss:)

We should leave UEFA competitions instead... Let them promote English teams as much as they want... I don't want to be in a position where I must watch that silly "Champions League" again...

Stefan can help on this. How many of what kind of players do we need and which ones among our club qualify for those.

We should name 4 club-trained player (Orlandoni, Bolzoni, Mei, Santon?) and 4 asso-trained player (Toldo, Matrix, Jimenez! and Muntari!) on List A, which contains 25 name. The other 17 may be anyone :)

Balotelli will be on List B (for youngsters) , because he has been at Inter for 2 years. But this is good for us, he can play every game in this case too. Next year he can be on the List A, as a club-trained player.

Next year will be any changes on "4+4 rule"?

If UEFA rises the numbers, it won't be too good for us...

I don't think so. The play was a longterm, and teams knew it some time, before they started to put it into life. If they will make change again, I think they will give clubs a head start.

These rules were introduced gradually. I don't remember the specific seasons, but it started with 2+2, then 3+3 and 4+4. It won't go higher unless UEFA promote and adopt higher figures.

Didnt they have another 6+5 Rule proposed? I think it was rejected by the European Football Union already though.

As far as I remember, it was 3 players raised in Italy football federation and another 3 players raised in our youth sector(thus 6), both for 3 minimum years spent within the group between the age of 17 and 23. The year spent in fed/youth does not have to be continuous but only have to add up to three. The actual ownership does not matter but the player has to be physically in the fed/youth, meaning loaning does not help.
