I don't see how Real Madrid makes it, UEFA wants City in the final for whatever reason, no ref goes to the Bernabeu in a semi final ready to play these mind games if he's not on a mission.

Yeah no penalties were warranted but the ref was strict against Real and extremely lenient with City. It's typical refereeing surgeries that we've witnessed for over 20 years over here just because blatant decisions following one after the other and wiretaps that confirmed the reality made things extremely obvious in the age of live sports television, so they had to turn to a more innovative way to cheat.

Been seeing that for years in Italy as well, especially in the last decade.

Yeah the clever way to affect the game is simply not give yellows to the team you want to win. City should have been given few yellows for sure. Kroos got a yellow on a challenge in the midfield, it was high on the leg but not a dirty one. Same kind of foul with no intention to play the ball happened at least in the second half once and Rodri wasn't punished for that (with a yellow, FK was called). Small things but they affect the game (Rodri can continue playing hard because he doesn't have a yellow so doesn't risk anything).

Don’t know why they didn’t check after ball in net, they play stopped, VAR could be checked. Could be Madrid having ball after so it’s reset.

You guys forget how many favorable calls Real got over the years from referees. And their fans are the worst kind. Bitching and moaning on every call, typical display over the years.
