And to be fair, they have a point. Messi is like super-Icardi. Fantastic when he has the ball, but you play with 10 men without the ball. The team has to be build around him.
Don't get me wrong, he is goat, and I don't blame him for Barca's performance. It is just that if in a team one player is above all others, it usually deteriorates other's mentality. Best way for Barcelona is to part ways with Messi now.

That being said, welcome to inter Messi. Hopefully we can manage to get him without completely ruining our finances. He is entering his retirement years, so I would not like to develop a team around him at this time. I would give him Conte's treatment
