It smells bad everyone in France. It's not just the frogs themselves, it's the fact there is dog shite everywhere you go once you're in a big city. Goto Germany instead. Much cleaner and the people are generally more polite, if a tad brusque. :)

And ignore Hamoodi and his raving about the English countryside. You want windmills and depressing weather? Merely head west into the Prairies.

LOL...Hamed..i actually saw some pics of that suffolk place..make sure u stay there for a couple of hours only....seriously..country side could be nice..but that looks like a yankee spot..life shuts down at...4pm!

My family always rave about France and how amazing Paris is. so i never heard the smell and dog shit type of stories.

Woahhh...the 2nd picture is amazing.

Is this advise based on your love of the ocean..lol...seems really laid back...but i like it...i'll give it a thought..

lol you see such beaches everywhere in Greece and there are some that are by far more impressive then that one, the last time I where in Greece, I visited several Greek islands (mostly local) and allot of those beaches wasn't destroyed by tourism and the locals was in general also more polite/friendly then those Greeks that live on those Tourist islands. you could even leave your bag in the middle of the town and nobody touched it at all. quite amazing that ain't possible in those areas where there are allot of tourists, because of the tourist(they are the thieves not the Greeks)

Of course you can rent a car but take care where you put your signature to (read everything carefully). Obviously you can't damage car and have to return it with same amount of petrol. Fines are sometimes very high but everything is mentioned in rental contract (with very small letters)...;)

Greek weather >>>>> Spanish weather :D

I've been to both places several times.. Greece is usually a fair amount hotter. Right now in Corfu its 30C and its 8:30pm

Denmark,

the car renting business variate from country to country, but in general they will try to fool you more in the southern part of Europe then in the northern, this has to do with the fact that the laws are more strict in the north then in the south, and that laws can't be interpreter in near as many ways. but it's a good thing to read everything also the part that are mentioned with small letters.

and as Katie kinda said Greece is very hot, but the weather is usually very good in may.

I had plans of going to beirut in september but...oh well.

The most beautiful city in Europe is Barcelona. You won't find anything like that anywhere else. Second comes Paris. London is somehow charming. You need time to like it. Once you like it, it's great. Vienna is ok...I live there so I'm biased(against it ;) )
Lisboa is supposed to be nice too..

Given that Beirut is a bit out and depending on the money and time I got, my 3 travel destinations should be Berlin, Istanbul or Buenos Aires...

Greece in May: Depending where you go :p

Ionian Islands(includes Corfu): Around 25C
Southern Aegean Islands(includes Crete): Around 30C
Athens: Around 30C
Northern Greece(includes Thesaloniki): Around 25C
Northern Aegean Islands: Around 30C

These are the general, but now weather is unpredictable so that's all simply a poor man's statistics :D

And Cyprus is the hottest one of them all

As a trip, I suggest you go to England or Germany at first(London or Berlin) then go to Belgium. Bruges is a nice graphic city. Amsterdam is too wild, so I say Holland is out for a "good" trip.

Then going to France(Paris and Nice-Cannes), then visiting Spain. There's too much of nice Spanish sites, and it's very underrated I reckon. I've never been to Spain, and I'll be probably going when I'll be studying.

After Spain, Italy is a good destination, Milano-Venice-Rome-Bologna-Florence-Genova-Sicily are good places to visit.
After Italy should come Greece, and the Ionian islands(Corfu-Zakynthos) and then Athens would be swell. Then one should visit the Aegean. Great scenery there, the whole islands are just ! Then moving upwards to Thesalloniki(Salonika) and then leaving Greece for Russia or something :p
