I seriously think that only samuel can help to improve our defense.....
you can count in nesta or stam, but milan wont release them...

chivu is a very good young player but I dont believe he will solve our problems immideately.... and I dont rate Chivu as a full back... Favalli is probably better than him as a FB, we need someone better than favalli at LB to replace him

I think there is only 5 defenders that could fix our central defence problems, immediately; Nesta, Stam, Carvalho, Puyol and Terry. Neither of these 5 are going to be sold or look likely to be sold.

Although I rated Samuel as one of the best in the world whilst he was at Roma, I'm seriously not sure about him nowdays, I'd take him without thinking twice, but I think he would take some time re-evaluating his career. But a small and fast Cordoba next to a wall-like Samuel does get get me to drool, but I doubt it will occur.

WRT to Chivu, trust me mate, he is an awesome player to say the least, <that is an understatement. He was amazing at Roma, remember when Chelsea were comtemplating making a move for him in Jan last season? If we let him get away, it'll be a mistake we've made twice. He sh1ts on Favalli, Favalli isn't good enough to clean his boots.

What about Ronaldo's recent declarations?
"These are things we have already heard."

The same things Mancini said about Ronaldo?
"Mancini doesn't know what to reply when you ask him these things. He wants to be polite to Ronaldo and at the same time he knows full well that we have a different project."

So we can't envisage Ronaldo being at Inter next season?
"No, I don't think so."

But will Adriano stay?
"Certainly."

True that, but only because Roma didn't budge and Milan opted for their second choice. Jank can play left midfielder too, as you would know, so I'm guessing that he's going have to spend some time on the bench, I seriously see him as Serginho and Pancaro's replacement, not Maldini's.

Serginho & Pancaro ARE replacements!

Both Maldini & Cafu are pretty old so I'm guessing Jankulovski will be used often to fill that left flank if neccesery..
This is why:
Cafu-Stam-Nesta-Jankulovski or
Stam-Nesta-Maldini-Jankulovski or
Cafu-Nesta-Maldini-Jankulovski..

He would especially be used when playing against weaker teams like serginho is now..As you already know seginho, pancaro, cafu, stam, maldini - they are all +30..so I've no doubt he'll play..
Other thing is, Ancelotti said he would try Kaladze as a CB, but I think he'll probably be sold(many clubs want him already..)

Now, concerning Chivu, many of you said it is pretty impossible inter will bring some of those best defenders, so buying chivu is the only way to solve inter defence problems..

And yes, maybe we can exchange Kaladze for Javier Zanetti ?! :D

I’m leaving Inter, says Emre

Emre Belozoglu has revealed that he intends to quit Inter and Italian football at the end of this season.

"I’ve told the club officials that I will leave in June because I want to play in a different European country," he told Turkish television.

"I have received offers from Spanish and English clubs and I hope that something concrete develops in one of these two nations.

"A return to Turkey? I will only come back if I fail to secure a move elsewhere," he added.

The Turkish international joined the San Siro outfit in the summer of 2001 after four seasons at Galatasaray.

However, the 24-year-old has failed to get a regular game with the Nerazzurri despite displaying touches of brilliance at times.

The pint-sized midfielder is actually tied to the Italian side until June 2007 but he’s praying that he will be released.

"I still have two-and-a-half years to run on my deal here but I hope there will be no problems," he added.

Both Arsenal and Manchester United have been linked with Emre in the past.

Emre no!!!!!! Finally.... :depress: :cry2: :fero:

Already Davids,Recoba,Emre........... sometimes Mancini waste huge talent.... frankly many players unhappy unders Mancini.

um, curse? my ass curse. Inter cant win the scudetto because of their stupidity. Its not a curse or luck, why cant we have a small squad where every1 is happy, why cant we have a fixed starting 11 like Milan, Juve, Chelsea and Barca.

Why has it been over 5 years and we cant take a lesson from these teams? :yuck: so its no curse, its inter.

i think the only person to come in and do this clean out is Mourinho, he will come, Destroy this team and rebuild it from scratch! ;)

Let's see first if in couple of days in inter.it Emre denies saying exactly such things, like happened with Adriano. But if that is true, I'm not surprised. In my opinion Emre's been very good this season when he's got the chance to show his skills. Still, he has played appr. just 16 whole matches (counted in minutes played) in all competitions.

Some comparing:

Stankovic ~32 matches
Veron ~25 matches
Cambiasso ~29 matches
Cristiano ~19 matches

Emre ~16 matches

Turk is a huge talent, and it would be very sad thing if Emre wants to go. But it's totally understandable.

Man theres so many things that have gone wrong, Its a curse or something. Obviously some stupid shit has happened but why?

its messed up, Fuck curse, Its just Moratti's Inter. Even if you had the whole world as your squad you should of won the title in the CUper era if you actully tried to play football. Too much bs that can't be pinned on one thing.

I highly doubt he said any of that.
Be positive, it's probably just a mis-interpretation and a misunderstanding.

1- Emre has been injured on many occasions, more than once when he started a game, who's fault is that? Not his but certainly not Inters.
2- Emre is one of the players who is the long-term future of the team, he was told this.
3- Davids will obviously be sold, once wingers are brought to the Inter team, he will be suited to play, currently..he doesn't fit the carried out game plan (three central midfielders)
4- If he did say that, he's gotta be one stupid fark if he thinks we're gonna release him when teams like Arsenal could offer money and Edu.

I think everything will be sorted out, he won't leave.

Let me go against the tide here: to me Emre is just like Andy Van Der Meyde - he has the skills but lacks character. When it's him that is supposed to take the team by the hand and lead it to victory he has all too often failed to produce. During Veron's injury he was supposed to make the break but he couldn't. He is easily pushed around by physical midfielders and struggles when he doesn't have space or time enough to think. Spain or England would suit him much better.

During Veron's injury, was he given chance ?? I guess Emre too was injured. ;)

As for VDM, I dont know whether its the coach or the enviroment which almost killed him. I watched him VERY closely while he was playing for Ajax and rumours started linking him to us. He was fab, and you rarely saw him putting such mediocre displays as he at times does for us.

Sampdoria game: his mistakes lead to both Samp goals.
Derby: he was supposed to lead the charge for the equilizer but he was absent.
Lazio: hardly a single good pass.

As for VDM, remeber Bergkamp?

yeah .....

How many chances has he got compared to other players this season ? He rarely gets the chance to start, so we can't expect great things from him all the time he's played. It takes time to settle down. Vieri got good amount of time and so did Stankovic. Stankovic was kinda out of form for about a month (or more) but still got Mancini's favour. And it's still the same with him, but thankfully, he's playing better and better. One can't expect players to play damn well everytime he's played.

Emre played badly in the first half against Lazio, who played well ?? Yeah, I only remember Veron (in midfield and attack). But Emre did well in the second half.

It's ridiculous to blame Emre for the goal we conceded in the derby game. ;)

And against Sampdoria's goals as well, we just can't blame him. This things happen alot.

Anyway, it's ridiculous comparing Emre with V.Meyde. ;)

It's also not Emre's first season in Inter. He has proved how good he can be during his stay in Inter. :)
