Terry is a good defender IMO but c'mon, he's the captain of Chelsea (After Desailly retires) and he has been a main-stay in the team. Chelsea will never sell him. And even if he's for sale, no thanx, I'm sticking with Canna -- Matrix -- Cafè.

Hmm if he was the champion meant by the pirrelli's chief..., it's a bit making sense...

I don't know if he's the bes defender there is.., but he's england future..

I saw Cesar in Coppa Italia yesterday. He was really good. Made some great defensive displays and great offensive breakthroughs, but most importantly of all - he has a ring in his left ear, and that´s really cool! He looks really cool. This is my rating of the linked defenders:

Samuel-A very good defender who would cost a price,however it seems too late as I am sure Chelsea will get him.
Verdict-Get him if we can!

Terry-I am afraid to say Chel$ki will not even sell him for £15m! However if Samuel goes to Chelsea then Terry could make way for him!
Verdict-Desperately try to get him.

Kompany-A very fine young defender however I would say current value is no less than £10m! This could put us off but that is the price of talent these days.
Verdict-Get him only if we can and go no further than £12m!

Zebina-No No No No No,slow and predictable we should not get him!
Verdict-No No No No No unless the deal includes no money + Helveg + Cruz + Kallon! :dielaugh:

Ferrari-To be honest I havent really ever seen him on fine fine form,but the big clubs must want him for a reason.
Verdict-I do not know much about him but maybe a deal up tp £7m would lure Parma these days? :star:

Belgium champions Anderlecht are preparing to make bids for two Inter players this summer.

Nigerian youth team striker Isah Eliakwu is liked and he was watched by Anderlecht boss Hugo Broos yesterday.

The tactician was left impressed by the 18-year-old who scored in the 3-0 win over Como’s Primavera side.

The club are also keen on young left-back Giovanni Pasquale, who has been linked with the club in the past.

Pasquale has rarely played for the Nerazzurri since the club replaced Hector Cuper with new boss Alberto Zaccheroni.

This is a very promising rumor. Vincent Kompany plays with Anderlecht, we can work out a deal with them for him. I know Eliakuw is the future of inter and all, but if we have the chance to exchange them, why not? We are very secure in the striker position for years to come with Adriano, Martins and Recoba. Kompany is really the real deal and he is so ideal to our situation. He is an excellent sweeper that won't demand first-team football, he can be an understudy to Matrix and Adani and should be ready for regular starts in 2-3 year time. Let's work out a deal and i'd through a loan for Pasquale or the sale of Brechet in the transaction.

I think Samuel is already Real's so there is no point. I really hate it that he's leaving italy but i respect him for not wanting to play for chelsea or any other italian team. Serie A is in deep crisis if superstars keep leaving year after year. Something has to be done!!!

Veron admits Inter interest

Chelsea midfielder Juan Sebastian Veron has admitted he would be tempted by a move to Italian giants Inter Milan.
Veron, who joined for £15m from Manchester United last summer, has only made 14 appearances for Chelsea.

"There is that possibility, but we have to wait until the end of the season to see who will coach Inter," Veron told the Corriere Dello Sport newspaper.

"My availability is there. It's a lifestyle choice, although I am happy in London and happy at Chelsea."

Veron added: "It would be stimulating to play for Inter as it's many years since the club have won a big title."

It seems that we are close to signing VERON !!

I thought there were other talented attacking midfielders like Aimar / Van der Vart / ... apart from Veron !! But we are after VERON !! uuuuhhhhh

At the moment, I am not optimistic on this deal, especially if the price tag is like $9/10 million, but lets hope that if Veron does join Inter, then he will regain his Parma/Lazio form and remain injury free... Why the hell are we planning to get him ???????? :fero: THe same old Inter management !! ..... But this could give a hint that Mancini cud be our future coach.....

The other rumoured player is BELARDI (Reggina GK) to be the deputy of Toldo. He is 26 years old and is rumoured to replace Fontana. What will happen to Moreau (on loan to serie B) and cordaz ??

We are also rumoured to Parma's Barone..... I have heard that he's good, but do we need him. I mean why buy average players (or quite good players when we already have). Just go for the best (2/3) and we are already done....

Cesar - if we can get him, I would be more than happy, especially if he can help us in the LB position and remian injury free. We shud keep Coco, coz both Cesar and Coco are injury prone.

I still don't get why on earth do we want VERON ?? Hopefully, I am wrong on this but ....


And Anderlecht is eager to get Eliawku and Pasquale. Yes, there's Kompany in that club and this deal might make it easier for us to get him. But why send Eliawku to a Belgium club ?? I don't think it will be good...

I just think that it's hard for him to break through the first team ala Martins in 02/03. Martins is a similar player to him and he's definitely ahead of Eliakwu in the pecking order. I can hardly see us being able to nurture Adriano, Martins & Eliakwu together since they are all strikers and only 2 can play in the same time. That being said; we still have Vieri, Recoba and Cruz as forwards. IMO, it's best to loan him out first. The Belgium league isn't very bad IMO, it's better than Serie C!!! What's more, Anderlecht is the champion there and Eliakwu may get some CL football next season if he's lucky. :shock:

Eliakwu should only be loaned out never sold....We need to keep this tradition of getting great youngsters and making them into great players like Inter did with Martins.This will make us save alot of money in the department that costs the most(attack) and it breeds loyalty and secures the future of talent for us.

Second if Veron is to come i hope he takes a salary cut and his contract doesnt cost us much..if he does however and looks good he might look really well behind Vieri-Adriano that he would make that combo work.

I hope that the Anderlecht thing works out to our favor and we get Kompany in return for loaning those players but the thing i hope for the most is Emerson really cause that would secure quality in that position whether CZ or Emerson play and would mean we can rotate both and get more playing time out of them with less injury without suffering of putting inferior players there.

I don't want him since he cost too much and his salary is too high, and he must demand a first team role..

as anderlect case, I agree with you guys, that this must be a way for us to get Kompany... I just hope this is true..

Loaning Eli and Pasquale won't be too bad, we already have sorondo there.. and our inter trio... can develop themselves together and rule belgium together
