Yeah, we were better but they had better scoring chances. I wonder if Ljajic or somebody else is going to be sacrificied for Insigne or Reus (haha the dream is alive)

Yeah, yeah ... I know ... Complaining while winning and not conceding a goal ... My problem is: We were the better team but Torino had the better chances. Torino should have made one goal and a draw would have been deserved for them.

It's not only because of our defense that we didn't concede. We also had luck. Fortes fortuna adiuvat. Well, that's no bad thing and normally as the team controlling the game for the most time you should be able to concede a goal and win. But somehow I don't think we are able to score more than one goal.

to be really honest, torino could've and probably should've scored 3 or 4.

I do agree that the manner in which a team wins matters. I was dissapointed in games vs Verona and Bologna as those should have been more comfortable wins.

Torino is a very tough team and we always struggle against them. I'm fine with a 1 0 win against Torino and this win was HUGE, very huge.

It works both ways homie, if most of us agree that we rely on individual brilliance in attack (e.g. Jojo first few games) then why is it different for Handanovic? Most of his amazing saves have only happened because of fuck ups from our defenders with bad positioning or flat out non existent positioning whatsoever. If Jojo is/was carrying our attack or creative flair, the same can and should be said of Handa and his defensive solitude.

I do admit that our defense is of course much better than our offense but it is no where the level most people think it's at! Handa is the biggest reason why we have so many clean sheets.

Icardi was bad. Benching him next game might force him to track back and pick some balls instead of crying that his teammates don't deliver. And even when he had the ball didn't do anything good.

We could've won by more goals, but Mancini decided not to. If we keep on these risky 1-0 wins it will come bite us someday, Mancini better find his balls and play more offensively, you can defend with 10 players for all I care when we are up by >2goals. Defense is solid though.

I know win is a win and I'm happy for each win but keeping this form for the long term is worrying, we have a great attacking department but Mancini cant make us of them well.

The amount of abuse Mancini gets at FIF these days, you would think Inter were in relegation zone instead of being TOP OF THE FUCKING TABLE!

At the end of the match against Torino, Roberto Mancini met the reporters in the press room for the usual press conference after the game.

Considering that 1-0 is still the preferred result of this Inter, don’t you think that, considering that you do however still struggle to create chances, this team can only grow and really think about something more?
“We must grow, we know this very well. This is sometimes forgotten, we have 7-8 young players and we have to make our own mistakes. Winning here, on a difficult pitch, is still very positive.”

The new tactic today with 3-5-2 was a solution that proved to be successful. How much of the credit goes to the players who have made this transformation work so well?
“We thought about it and worked on this, thinking of a formation that would not get us in trouble. Torino does it with their style of play, we did well and it’s not a simple thing.”

Who do you fear most in the race for the Scudetto?
“That discussion concerns Roma and Napoli, we aim for third place.”

Meanwhile, this match was enriched by a number of peculiarities, for instance the Inter that sheds its skin constantly. What percentage of this change is wanted and what is necessary from having to know the team?
“We are growing, we are working. There are weeks where I understand that there are feasible discussions that weren’t there before. We must improve further because we have to play in a certain way, in the second half we suffered too much and wasted chances to make it 0-2. We have to change more things.”

Wash this the best performance by Kondogbia?
“Beyond the goal, he is growing. He did better in Bologna and on Sunday he did well when he came on. The boy is young, we must accept the positive things and those who aren’t.”

A negative second half today.
“We gave Torino the opportunity to play, in the first half Samir made no saves and there was that shot. Then in the second half they put us in trouble with the high balls and became more physical with the arrival of Lopez, then we wasted 4-5 breakaways. These are things we should not do.”

You’re thinking a lot about not conceding goals and solidity. When will it be the team that you want?
“We are still far from my idea, when we know each other better we will be. It will take some time.”

It is not so crazy that I and a few others think we have a lot to improve on and we are riding our fuckin luck a bit. I'm glad Mancini realizes this and hopefully will manage to better our performances with providing Ws.

I thought it was one of his better games of those where he doesn't assist or score. The backhell to Kdog was cool and he did not instantly lost the ball as soon as he got it like in some other games.

But he gets too easily bullied off the ball, i would like to see him get bulkier

Lol. Haters gone hate, Mancini gets abuse ... This accusations are as ridiculous as going mad because we just won by 1:0.

It has nothing to do with hate when you just mention that our defense isn't as good as many people here think and that we have to do something about our attack. Because:

We could've won by more goals, but Mancini decided not to.

Don't think so. Even in the first half, when we dominated the game, we don't have many good chances.

I said: We controlled the game for most of the time but we don't "produce" enough of that. Looking at the chances Torino had, you can't deny that we also had luck on our side.

Edit: It's not like we beat Barcelona away in a CL semi final.
