I have now seen the Empoli game and I have to say that it gives confidence for this one. Points to notice Cuchu does not seem fully fit to me nor does Cordoba but Oliver will be able to step in for Cuchu and Nico for Cordoba.

I think it is very imprtant to keep possesion of the ball in this game to ensure we don't wear out since defending takes more out of you since you try to anticipate what the opponet is going to do and it keeps you running and if we keep the ball we control the pace of the to one that suits us.

Adriano will prolly score he is looking more and more like his old self I hope he starts training that right foot soon though.


For this game the only change that I would inflict is to play Deki instead of Figo who was more interested in diving at Empoli. I will be away for the weekend I hope the boys pull it off and keep the streak alive.

Not an easy match, we will want to get another win and continue our great run, but Torino is a good team especially at home. I feel that Mancini will not take the "risk" of using Adriano, I think he will use the "normal" 11 that we have used in most games this past months.

I don't know if any of you noticed but the game will be played on the 13th at 20:30 Italy time.

Yeah Pi, I agree totally with you. Except Mancini might use Adri. Well, he will definitely use him, but I don't know if he'll use him as a sub or in starting 11.

About the date, yeah, I saw it is played 13th of January, and the title here says 14th. Change it.

Never gonna happen.
It's something strange that Mancio puts both Dacourt and Cambiasso on the bench. One can replace the other through the phase of the game. I'm somehow agree with strating with both Figo and Dejan but JUST if Mancio doesn't want to use Maxwell. Something like this:

Viera Cuchu Dejan
Figo

But this is dangerous as we wouldn't be able to replace to a more attacking formation through the phase of the game if we were behind. If it was up to me (and I really predict it) I would start like this:
Cesar

Viera Cambiasso Zanetti
Stankovic
Zlatan Adriano

And those who we should expect to be subbed are Dejan, Cuchu and Maxwell if the game was going in our favour.
