Too much transfers - can it be?

Am I the only one who thinks all these transfers can also be a bad thing? I mean, what team could ever win something if they keep tearing apart and rebuilding entire parts of the field every season? Just look at our new midfield: Stankovic, Veron, Davids, Cambiasso, Cesar (?). Where is our old midfield with gems like Emre, Cristiano and van der Meyde (yeah him.) What happened to stability?? This isn't CM you people.

The teams who actually win stuff ( ) have players who have been playing together for years, and the understanding between them is almost telepathic. Juve, Bilan, Porto, Barca, all quite successful clubs that have this feature. More clubs, albeit less successful but still surely more successful then Inter (again  ) are Real Madrid, Arsenal, and Bayern Munich. Maybe the most significate example is Man Utd, although lately this has not come to a benefit for them. To bring a very good example from the past, the great Ajax of the 90's where players grew up together on the same street. They played amazing breathtaking football together, as if their minds were connected with invisible electrodes. The closest thing at Inter is the connection between Cordoba and Materazzi we sometimes have a glimpse at. Imagine that kind of blind understanding between Inter's midfielders. Just imagine the potential.

This beaviour reminds me of Moratti's crazy buys in the 90's and early 00's. Something we (atleast I) thought Inter was over with. That was the first step towards healing the team, IMHO, and now Inter has taken that step back.

It's great to bring a few stars to give the team the kick it needs. Necessary postions like Favalli's and Veron's are good deals, but this is too much. For instance, bringing both Veron and Davids was silly - it also leads Emre's way out.

Inter, no more transfers, please. Lets stay Inter, not Chelsea.

Ofcourse. We're the modern day example that you can't buy trophies. We didn't really need any transfers this summer except for a midfielder like Juan Sebastian Veron as we lacked someone to create in the middle, but even that signing could be argued. Not only do we have no chemistry, but the players have no security about their future and don't know how they will be used and even if they'll be on the match squad sometimes. Just look at how this Coco saga is happening, he was set to become our left back again and suddenly he's not even in our Champions League list.

You must have patience when a club fails, especially when they came so close like in 97/98 or in 01/02. Moratti doesn't seem to understand this and just re-builds from scratch and fails again and again. It's the same old story, and that's why FC Inter is the laughing stock. We have a dream team here, on paper i doubt we've ever been better before. Sad part is us Interisti have been dissapointed so many times that it's natural we expect to flop like we've always done.

Buying is a privelage and shouldn't be done just for the fun of it, this is real life and not a video game like Championship Manager. Heck, i think we'd agree that our squad is more star studded then our CM teams. ;)

In my opinion, we have gone over Chelsea already. This our transfer policy is just stupid. We get a lot of players without really needing of them. Then we can't even get rid of our old players who then won't get any playing time during the season. Chelsea at least has got rid of their old players when Mourinho has asked his own favourites to replace them.

Okay, we don't pay such a hilarious transfer fees, we get our new players for free, but we definitely pay a huge salary for them and for those also who will be rottening on the stands.

That's why this whole thing once in a while saddens me when it comes to my mind. :(

We haven't gone Chelsea. We've been Chelsea way before they found the same way. Cuper's common sense helped a bit, but now the same frenzy is back.
I've learned to live with it, let's just wait for better times.

Too many transfers always harm the squad. Instead we should've only buy one or max. two true champion to our squad.

We don´t need Davids? We don´t need Bur if Adani leaves? We don´t need Cambiasso who has been one of the best central midfielders in La Liga only to be benched because of fashion desires? Don´t we need Favalli if Coco returns to injury hell so that we don´t have to rely on Pasquale as the only true LB in that case?

No chemistry? :wth: In my 7 years of supporting Inter I haven´t seen such a relaxed and happy environment... So you don´t think VDM, Burdisso and all the other reserves are gonna get to play? If Carmi can work magics they won´t. If he is just a good atletic trainer we will see the same old injury hell all over again.

As you pointede out it's not new for os that we buy a hole new squad every season..and what have we achived, nothing at all. Moratti have to lean that you can't buy succes...Maby this is the best team we have had for a dacade but onestly....look at there age. Only 4 of our new players are under 30. What are they thinking abaut. Instead of buying over hill players, we should bring in talented young players.

I can't say this enaugh Moratti leave the club now...and never come back again.

The only transfers we have made this season, which I don't mind at all are:

BURDISSO :proud:
FAVALLI (but I would mind this transfer if Janku arrives and Coco doesn't leave)
CAMBIASSO (not that bad)

others ..... it's

And I was happy with the following transfers which we made last season:

V.Meyde
Kily
Fadiga (wud had been a good back up player, but ...)
Cruz (good back up player)

Yeah, they are always smiling before the season starts and it's all fun and games but watch how the team will be when a few good players are tired of either sitting in the bench or better yet, the stands.

Van der Meyde and most of the established players won't get to play enough to satisfy them, this is no secret. You need to face the facts and realize unless a major injury happens to Stankovic, then that's how things will work. I guarantee you VDM didn't move to Inter to be just a Coppa Italia starter.

Burdisso will accept it, he's young and an absolute gem. In a couple of years he'll be starting and known as one of the best in the world.

Well to be frank Andy VDM can kiss my ass if he complains just about the breakfast food! That little crybaby needs to grow up and realize that you can´t expect to be a starter when you utterly fail!

Andy VDM: :rolleyes::rollani:

Instead of seeing the competion as a disregard to them personally they should realize that bringing players of David´s calliber is because we have ambitions. Healthy competition is so underrated. It´s incredible!

I seriously think that every transfer that has been made this summer has been a good one except us getting Mihal. Sure the team needs continuity, but why continue with something that has failed? Heck it utterly failed in December-February where things really fell apart. I'm all for continuity but if we have a chance to upgrade the squads weak spots then I'm all for it. After we get Cesar and we lose the un-needed players then it will be time to talk continuity because then every part of the team will be well covered.
