ah maybe i'm way out then, the last time i remember looking at final season ticket numbers they were 40,000 at least.

More shocking is that Milan still seem to sell more than us each year :|

Another Milan derby that takes place sees the trend of Inter beating their city-rivals continuing, as they have more season-ticket holders for this coming 2009-10 campaign.

According to the Corriere della Sera, The Nerazzurri have doubled the season ticket sales of their local rivals, selling 40,000 to the Rossoneri's 20,000. It is a stark contrast to previous campaigns where the ticket sales have been extremely close for the two Milanese giants in Serie A.

Milan's underwhelming transfer campaign is thought to be the main cause of the significant difference, as star player Kaka left for Real Madrid early this summer, while their only noteworthy acquisition has been the recent arrival of Dutch striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

Meanwhile, despite losing Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Barcelona, Inter have reinforced with star names like Samuel Eto'o, Diego Milito, and Lucio.

The subscriptions for seasons ticket holders are available until September, but only an extremely drastic change in the trend of sales thus far would see coach Leonardo's side catch up to Jose Mourinho's squad.

pretty sure milan were always a few thousand ahead in the last few years at least - lack of success is finally hitting them

Katie your are right, Milan was always ahead of us in recent years. Very happy to see the trend reversed and I think Kaka leaving them contributes a whole lot to it.

Go to a site to get them and have them delivered to the hotel.Just tell us about the site before you purchase it.You will probably have someone here reccomending it or warning you about it.

You can do it through the hotel if it is a good one. Both ways you will pay a higher price than the actual tickets.I did it both ways and I thought the concierge alternative was just as good as a good site.I have been sold bad tickets though from a website so if you are not sure about the site you are better off going to the hotel.

Your problem is nothing compared to mine, Sandro...

I went to the Italian Embassy today and was told that VISA applicants had to SIT THERE FOR TWENTY FOUR FREAKING HOURS. Yes, you heard me right. Apparently the idiots have never heard of a queue system or something and you cannot leave the spot, which is by a roadside in an open air, for one whole fucking day.

No wonder the country is in such a stagnant state, they can't even manage a simple fucking queue. I'm gonna try to apply through German's embassy tomorrow.

Z, I'm not joking.

People who came out from the embassy after the process looked like zombie, and I talked to them and they confirmed that they themselves had been waiting there overnight. At night, the guards outside randomly check if those on the list are still there and if you're not there, they cross your name out and you have to queue all over again.

And no, the passport is left there for 3 weeks. It takes 12-15 business days to process it.

It's truly barbaric. Only neanderthals do these things...

(Btw, sorry if I sounded racist to Italians...Just a rant at the incompetent nincompoops at the Italian Embassy here and the locals themselves who're there...)

If you have a hotel, ask them. How many stars does the hotel have? Four and above are guaranteed not to mess with you. You will pay overprize, but the option is no ticket. And trust me, you will not care about the prize when you're there. It's an amazing feeling.

They go by the country of longest stay, not country of entrance. Technically they can do it if they wanna be nice or if you know someone, but the rule is country of longest stay.

Ehsan is right.

What I'm doing is: Make a fake reservation with another airline and another hotel. Once I get the Schengen VISA, I'm gonna cancel the reservations. I'm going with Frankfurt, Germany. I can't do France because they go by an appointment system and it's full up to 2 weeks. Germany's queue aren't so long from my research and tbh, shoulda check on Spain but kinda too late now...

Gonna have to be there on German's embassy by 6am still. :| But at least they say we should be guaranteed at least an entry to the interview and stuff by noon.

Game v Parma

I'm in Italy in a couple of weeks and am looking to go to the Parma game at home. It still appears the time isn't confirmed though so when will Sky do this? Also, would I make it between San Siro and Centrale Station in about 1hr 40mins as if it is played at night my last train to where I'm staying would be 00:20ish?

Sky doesn't decide Lega Calcio decides the times. I am pretty sure there should be a site online for the train times. Unfortunately I can't remember the train operating companies name from when I was in milano.
