Yes it happened: A. Mancini in 2nd half of 2009/2010.

But as far as I know, Helveg was owned by BBilan before he joined us by a swap.

I thought it was the other way around, where Inter owned him and loaned him to Milan for 3 years before he came to play for us.

Thanks for the reminder about Mancini... can't believe I forgot about that. I still don't fully understand how or why something like that could happen. Perhaps it came during a period where we were on friendlier terms with our 'cousins'? Have we had any recent loan deals with Rubentus?

It was really weird...as I remember it:

Milan bought Helveg from Udinese in 1998. Then, Inter purchased him from Milan in 2000, but left him on loan at Milan until 2003.
