True, Amanda Staveley is not a part of PIF. She owns PCP, has serious connects with middle eastern investors into Europe. She did the Man City deal for Sheikh Mansour, and the Newcastle deal for PIF. In the latter case, she also ended up becoming a partner of PIF, owning 10% of Newcastle.

So if Amanda is saying that "PIF are no longer interested in Inter", its not coming from ignorance on her part. Either she is stating a fact, or its posturing. If PIF want to buy Inter they would most likely involve her as dealmaker.

Btw, this is what she said: “We talked to Inter Milan, AC Milan, but the problem was the structure of the league was a mess. But we’re not looking at Inter [any more].”

I suspect she is referring to the bureaucracy involved in Serie A, in things like stadium, etc.

if you help people get in Britain, does not mean that you help them get into Italy. Why would PIF work with PCP, who has ties in UK, to get them in Italy, completely different world.

She spoke as if she were the PIF spokeswoman.

I don't know any exact figures but different reporters have talked how the total money invested is close to 700m€ (including buying the 68% of the club for 270m€).

Marotta also said how much they've invested. Of course that's just what owners told him to say publicly, but it's the truth.

What the owners do now is just saving what is left. They need to get the books in order bit by bit. Covid fucked this club hard. Stadium project is probably one key point in time which might be the selling trigger (for buyers that's important).

Call me optimistic but I really believe there is something with PIF. I just don’t think Barella who could pick to play for any club in the world would renew, now you could say it’s cos he’s Italian but then what about Lautaro who’s agent touted his exit for years suddenly renews? And Bastoni earlier in the year as well, I just don’t think they would have if they knew things aren’t gonna change soon.

Even securing someone like Onana who has been courted by Barcelona and Arsenal would join. And the names we’re being linked to again, albeit just rumors, but the likes of Rudiger, Gosens , Adeyemi and Raspadori ( who may not be rated as highly by some of you but still costs like 30-40 mill) is making me believe

So what if they want profit? They invested heavily in the club, and got us back to the Champions League, and won us the league. This club is worth more than when Suning bought it, and they haven't taken a penny out of the club.

Inter's worth more, not less, with Lukaku and Hakimi sold - we overachieved valuation for both of them, reduced substantial cost.


Moratti's pumping of money in is different - it was done over decades. Suning have done it over what, 4 5 years? I think if you added up all the Chinese sponsorship, you'd probably get north of a billion they've invested into the club.
