Suning hasn't been around for 10 years.

And no one said they didn't pour money into the club for a couple of seasons.

Yesterday was a big blow in our face. And i think we all feel that way. I'm really trying to put everything in perspective.

We all know COVID has fucked us over. A lot of clubs felt it. And i think we will keep feeling it for some time. We also know our finances are bad. It wasn't good before COVID and it only got worse after. So it's evident we must do something about it. Some kind of self-sustainable is important to ensure a future for us.

But there are a lot of thinks i don't understand. Our revenues, our sponsor incomes (shirt sponsors, digital sponsors, even the nike sponsorship, CL revenues) are way more than a couple of years back. Past year we had a positive transfer income of 150 million euros. And know we have to 60 million again? It just doesn't feel right. You can't pretend to be a topclub and want to win prices if you have to dismantle your team year after year.

On top of that there are a lot of mistakes being made the past year. Invested our limited funds wrong. And that's on Bepe. I really think we do owe him a lot of respect bringing us back at the top of Italy. but we are in a crisis now, that requests different capability's. Scout young players with resale value, build a team which is maybe not ready for now, but over 2/3 years. I don't know if Bepe is the one for that job.

I don't have trust in the combination of Bepe and Suning anymore. I hope (and they should for fuck sake) Suning goes. But otherwise we maybe have to look at another sport-director....

we can minimize the damage/losses (reduce the cost) by using/integrate youth player into first team (play your primavera ffs!)
at least with them we could collect some resale value, capital gain, even earn massive enthusiasm for fans. (if we really nurture any big potential one and play them regularly)

just restructure the club, start giving young ones chances, it is clear that after so many years and so many millions only 1 scudetto in 10 years and the club in crippling debt IS NOT THE WAY TO GO.

or find a buyer, but I believe that won't get us out of a jam so quick. We are selling club, so stop buying veterans and play the game accordingly.

Two 2nd places and one scusetto in the last 3 years however suggests we are going in the right direction

I felt the same way, but if we don't build on this, the drop could be as bad as the 2012-2017 one, just that this one could last longer.

We already have a core of players that can play for us for the next 5+ years for sure, but clearly overall our squad is not sustainable, so our core + Agoume, Esposito and co. type of players is how to fix the wage problem for now.

Rather risk a midtable finish with our core + "youngin's" for a year or two, than go into worse debt and get fucked even more.

yes and no
the right direction means more earned trophies, being second like roma and napoli
will end sooner than later, and we will be back to 3-6 position + without gaining any trophy when we had the opportunity.

When you need cash but can’t find it anywhere other than selling, a business that loses you money should be a no brainier.

But like you said hopefully brains over ego 🤣😂🫣
