Jip we need them so they can screw us over like Vieri and Cannavaro did.

We need inter youngsters coming through the system much more.

**** cannavaro though i like him and Bobo also...Remember players like Bergomi , Facchetti , Altobelli , Baggio and now Matrix...

What im saying is we are an italian team and it's not good to only have one player in the national team of italy besides we are the 2nd popular team in italy as far as fans...so alot of italian love Inter...we just gotta choose besides...I still love our team , our south-american team but we just need an addition to that ..Remove the south american that are average or don't play with italians or add some great italian youngsters

We are a privately owned club based in italy we have no obligation to play italians. Italians cost twice as much as the same quality south american. And besides we do buy italians . Most are so called foreigners have italian passports.:D

How is it embarrassing?? It's only embarrassing if you happen to support the Italian national team.

Me I don't support any national team so that hardly matters to me.

But I am sure the Argentine Inter fans feel proud when they see our boys representing their country.

Look at Barcelona.
Thay happend to have very few domestic players as well.
But no one can come close to Inter and its one only domestic player.

I remember back in the time when Vialli was manager of Chelsea, the first time they played the game with all foreign squad, press vent nuts. That is precisely why they overpayed for a few english players.

Well as for Barcelona, they've been extremely fortunate that world class players have come through their ranks (Puyol, Xavi, Iniesta, Messi). Instead of blaming Inter's academy for not raising enough talent, perhaps the press or the pro-Italians should start blaming the Italians for having less talented youngsters.

Talent is always there, it's the matter of how to extract them
And Han, Messi is Argentinian :D

We had many youth product, but we are always making them go away, latest example, Andreolli

A more earlier example, Momente, where the hell did he go?

To be honest, I prefere all forein team.
Thats what Inter is all about.
Thats what makes him uniq.

I agree this is what attracted me to Inter in the first place. However, I doubt Gaga Nord will agree.:lala:

Most clubs as well as their fans make a big deal about having as many domestic players as posibale. I have been to quite a few forums of Italian as well as English clubs and even though their respective clubs have over 50% of its roster made of domestic players, most of their fans still want percentage of domestic players to be higher. Which is ok when it comes to domestic fans, but what I find odd is that foreign fans dont mind supporting a team that will so much prefere domestic over foreign players.

I feel that people living and working in forign countryes, and know how it feel being a forigner have good motivation to support Inter because of the way it treats forigners.

I don't have a problem with a foreign team. I love italian football and always cheer for them in any world stage, but I don't resent inter for not having as many players as other italian teams etc.

I agree that we need to develop the young italians. All of the top italian players on the national team are on rival teams, old, or demand way too much money for it to be of any use to us. Hopefully the primavera will develop into a strong first team for inter and we will represent italy and the world proudly.

Blatter proposal threatens Inter (and human rights)

FIFA President Sepp Blatter pushes for a limit of five foreign players in the starting 11 for League matches – a ruling that would devastate Inter.

EU law led to the abolition of any rule limiting the number of foreign players a club could field, but Blatter argues that such guidelines shouldn’t apply to football.

“Workers in Europe can circulate freely, but footballers are not workers,” he told BBC Sport.

“You cannot consider a footballer like any normal worker because you need 11 to play a match – they are more artists than workers.

“When you have 11 foreigners in a team, this is not good for the development of football, for the education of young players, and there is a financial aspect too.”

Blatter’s aim is to force clubs to pick no more than five foreign players in their starting formation.

The re-introduction of a foreigners rule will be extremely difficult to implement as it is likely to meet with determined resistance from the biggest clubs in Europe.

Inter, for example, would see their formidable squad rendered impotent as they depend so strongly on their overseas stars.

In last weekend’s Serie A clash against Roma, the Nerazzurri didn’t send a single Italian on to the pitch with the starting 11 entirely composed of foreigners.

Roma, Juventus and Milan are less vulnerable as they all regularly play at least five Italians, but they would still see many of their expensive imports become useless.

This idea would take time to be implemented cause not only us, but a lot of other big european clubs have adapted the same approach as us, look at arsenal
their first eleven:

Lehmann {Germany]
Sagner {French or African]
Toure [ Ivory Coast]
Gallas [ Frenchie]
Clichy [ I love Paris]
Eboue [ Ivory Coast]
Flamini [ Frenchie ]
Fabregas [Spanish]
Hleb [ Bosnian]
Van Persie [ Dutch ]
Adebayor [ Togo]

Not a single english player, at least we have Orlandoni, Matrix and Toldone and there so many other clubs which have only foriegners in their lineups like in Poland, there is this small club whose president wants it to compete at least in their domestic title race so what he did, he went to brazil and bought like twelve or thirteen brazilians for his squad and now his team only has brazilians lol and when he was asked about their arrivals, he replied, " Well, we all know that brazilians play beautiful football so hopefully they will deliver us the goods too." :boogy: :boogy:
