Fucking hell, the first touch annoys me so much online. How many goals I haven't got against by a simple bad first touch.

There's a setting [in the controller setting IIRC] to lower the first touch error proneness. You can control your fullbacks runs, overall runs by your teammates and stuff like that - take a look.

Surely those settings (Like previous years where you can have like shot accuracy and power at 100% leading to wondergoals every shot) only apply offline?

Ah, IDK. I still play the demo but yeah, I guess they work only offline.

I'm waiting for EA to issue an update fixing what's pissing me of, like the first touch, to decide whether to buy the game.

BTW The same problem that was fixed in their first update last year. Fucking retards. Have they updated the game in any way since the release?

First, we want to thank everyone that provided feedback on the FIFA 14 Demo on Twitter, Facebook, and the EA Forums. We’ve been listening to the comments and our teams across the world have been working hard to prioritize and address the items that have been brought to our attention.

Upon starting up FIFA 14 for the first time you'll notice a title update will be made available. The update addresses stability issues found in the closed beta and minor fixes to a couple game mode (Skill Games, Creation Centre) items. Please, if you haven’t done so already, be sure to restart and download the title update in an active session as this will enhance stability when matching up with other players online who have accepted the update.


Our commitment to improve FIFA 14 is on-going, and regular feedback from our fans helps us prioritize and identify future improvements. We wanted to take this opportunity to address a few more items that we continue to work towards. Firstly, we got some great feedback on gameplay during the demo and early access period, including:


• The effectiveness of headers from corner kicks and crosses.
• The effectiveness of finesse shots.
• The accuracy of lofted through-balls.


We look to update you in the near future with good news on the identified gameplay tweaks.


Finally, we’re aware that some users are experiencing freezes during the game. We continue to investigate these reports internally, and with our partners, and will update the community when we know more.

so standard, it took them months to fix the ultimate team issues in 12, I almost gave up trying to play it.. by the time I could actually play, I was so far behind it was pretty much pointless XD

I dislike the new scouting methOD for players in career mode. I totally get why it's I and it's more realistic but it takes a lot of fun away from it all in my opinion and makes the transfer window seem like a chore.

Ea has fucked up badly, Mbaye, Benassi and Duncan were playing permanently for Livorno on the newest updates. All co-owned players like Livaja, Spendlhofer are playing for the club they are loaned to permanently. Wish that either Italy stops this co-own shit or EA starts acting like a good company instead of 8-years old

Having a blast at online. Although some teams I play aren't equal to the teams I have to face.

I mean playing as Fiorentina, facing Arsenal, Chelsea, Jube, even fucking Real

And as Monaco, facing Wolfsburg, Leverkusen, Southampton, ...
