Ok the discussion on the other thread about the best goal this season made me think of this idea especially after this...

Seriously? Well that's farcical, honestly. Ibra's scorpio against Bologna was easily the best goal Inter has scored since 01/02 (When I start following them passionately)

I am sure there are lots of nice goals before and since then Han,lets try to post the best and keep busy discussing them over the looong summer

This is one for the record books by Djorkaeff.I actually thought this topped the list of best 100 goals by Inter.

To me the best goals are by skill,importance,timing and the whole meaning really...

I urge you guys to look for the best from you tube and lets post them.Bous points to whomever gets a goal better than ZLatans vs.Bologna that was scored since 2001.

Some of the best that come to mind and i am sure you will post them are,Emre chip over Lazio keeper.Van Der Meyde vs. Arsenal...Lots of Zlatans goals.Some of BamBams....list goes on:star:

I got a vid from INter channel last year compiled of so called Inter's best 100 goals. Djorkaeff was the one who scored the best.

DJ's goal was better than Ibra, I agree with that. But it was before 01/02. And I'm 100% sure that, at least for me personally, Ibra's against Bologna is the best goal since 01/02.

And by the way, I'm talking about quality wise, not the importance, emotion or who was the opponent. Otherwise, there is nothing that can top il Chino's goal against Samp, is there?

For me, the best goal has to be something UNIQUE, not just another long shot pile driver, or dribble past 5 players to score because those kind of things are 'doable' by some other players.

I can say two goals are wonderful, but I like more goal of Ibrahimovic vs Bologna..
Why? Because he scored with backward from a hard score position and skills of Ibrahimovic don't have every player.
But I'm not saying so Djorkaeff's goal it's not good..
But I more like goal of Ibrahimovic. :star:

I agree with Han. Longshot goals, even if they're really great aren't in the same class as technically difficult goals. Ibra's "backheel" (in fact it's closer to the outside of his foot) vs Bologna IMO is not just about "sticking your leg out", he had to angle it, and snap it to get power on it. Also the fact that it's the second time he's scored a goal like that makes it all the more beautiful, because it proves it's more skill than luck.

However I disagree that every player can score dribble goals, as you only see those solo runs a couple of times a season. I rate dribble goals highly, much higher than longshots.

However there's three kinds of dribble goals. There's the ones where the player is so fast that he just breezes past everyone, the kind where the defenders are useless which I don't rate as highly, and then there's the kind where in true gambeta style the player mindf¤#%ks 4-5 players and scores. Those goals are IMO the best, especially if it's done against top quality defenders.

Still disagree with your last paragraph. As a matter of fact, I think Maradona's goal against England is the most OVERRATED goal ever. (If you strip the competition & emotion elements) And it only gains a lot of reputation because it's against the most hyped NT of all time. Had it been scored against Italy or Germany, traditionally better defensive sides than England, I'm 100% it will receive probably half of its current hype.
