Everyone from the first few episodes died of old age to introduce the kids who will need to be aged up in season 2.

Just way too much plot building for a show that nothing happens and next season is 2 years out. At the earliest

At that point Jon snow show will be out

Horrible opinion.

The season sets the stage, gives different families and people different motivations, you get to know the main set of characters pretty well. All in all a lot better done than the first season of Game of Thrones. I'm glad that at least one show takes its time, since most of the best shows did - The Wire, Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul,...

if HotD continues like this, this will be one of the best HBO shows ever, prime Rome vibes from the series, this is how you portray strong women (yeah I'm taking shots at Rings of Power) and this is how you do fucking worldbuilding and showing drama

I liked Hotd way more then i did RoP, loved it actually, for me it's best ASOIAF related content released since s4 of GoT. It actually made me care for main chars (the blacks ftw) and i dont think that would be possible if they rushed it, or did somekind of flashback episode.

I was so happy that the second season was on Netflix. First season was amazing. Speakin Latin, really pay attention to details in the clothing and weapons etc etc. But this season...They turned it into a f*ckin woke serie. It's all context and I get that they have to make it interesting for the general public and not just the people who find this period interesting. But the real story already gives enough tension and sensation. There is no reason to display nonsense or obvious historical inaccuracies.

They raped the serie and there is no coming back from it.

Also there's no one to care about as a character. Arminius & Varus on S1 were excellent characters.

Arminius s2 has too much of an identity crisis which was ok in the first season but at this point I expected him to go full Germanic leader.

The Marcomanni leader is a pussy.

Germanicus is made look like Caligula and it's a disgrace. I expected more from his character tbh.

Not to mention the other countless historical inaccuracies.

Fully agree that there's little chance of them turning it around sadly.

I haven't watched House of the Dragon yet, but LOTR is so shitty to me. It looks like the producers spent all the money on cgi. The actors are very ordinary. There is not a single charismatic person among them. I gave up to follow after 3-4 episodes.

As a huge fan of Tim Burton I found Wednesday is super overrated. It's literally an unofficial tv drama version of Harry Potter and I hate Harry Potter.

On the other hand Jenna Ortega has already proved that she's gonna be a huge star.
