gonna watch True Detective season 1 again...one of the best existential series ever...master class series...season 2 couldn't reach the amazingnessess of the first season...it was destined to flop...maybe they come back with Rust Cohle again...the character is just gold...I wanna see more of his stories but then...again,it was already told...what else is there to tell?!

been watching peaky blinders, their last season came out on netflix. kind of a let down, maybe it was just me but the previous seasons were alot better.
this main enemy, american sicilian, was so generic and badly acted. couldnt take him seriously. the scenes with the women, his gypsy aunt etc were plain boring to the point i just ffwd to get past it. the ending was weird and the plot twist stupid.

for a moment i thought this could overtake boardwalk empire in terms of awesomeness. but of course there was no way.

I'm into shows with a Twin Peaks/Lost/X-Files kind of mystique. I watched Stranger Things season 1 and will check out season 2.

Broadchurch is one I came across lately, if you enjoyed Twin Peaks you'll notice the influence it had on this show.

Fringe is another one I'm surprised JJM didn't mention since it plays with different concepts (almost spoiled stuff) with phenomenal acting and lightheartedness.

If you love Anna Torv in Fringe then check out Mindhunter and that's the right order.


Shows like Six Feet Under, Bates Motel, Legion, the Missing, Top of the Lake are influenced by that genre you like even though some of them lean towards a heavy drama approach but don't let that stop you from experiencing something that could positively surprise you.

I gave up on the show halfway through second season.

Try Deadwood instead.

Finally starting watching Ozarks, so far very happy.

Finished the season of Dark, it was solid. Much darker than Stranger Things which it’s been compared too. Honestly they’re not even really comparable, but if I had to compare them I would say Stranger things is better.
