I just came from Dubai where i was for the long weekend.It really is booming there and I had a blast as they had a car exhibition and a film festival there which i enjoyed besides all the shopping...

Ziyad, my school is organising a Dubai study trip next March but I'm still in a dilemma. Is it a great country? Other than the car exhibition and film festival that you mentioned, how's the country? The nightlife? Food? Girls? :sweeteye:

Han, from what I heared from family and friends, the majority of Dubai's residents are foreign, something like 80-90%.

Also, I think there are all kind of restaurants over there,from local to chinese. As for the life de nuit it is pretty thriving, according to some of my friends!
