Everyone is citing the transfer fee but I haven't seen a single report of his rumoured salary?

Lol no, he was earning 75k pounds weekly, gross wage. Lazy to calculate, but that's something like 3 mil euros per year, no more. (75k pounds is around 110k euros, 440k per month x 12 its around 5.2 mils. GROSS).

Phew, okay Hope we managed to get that down to 2,5M, tho 3M is still acceptable.

The perfect scenario for both sides would be 2,5 plus solid performance bonuses.

What you brother is forgetting are the times when Jovetic was fit and sitting on the bench because of Aquero (+Dzeko+Negredo+....). At Inter, Jovetic will be our Aguero. Even if Jovetic continues the same medical record, at Inter he will start 25+ games. Thats good enough for him to develop some devastating form.

In his last season in Serie A, Jovetic started 31 games (13 goals, 5 assists), and was injured for 5 games.
In his first season in EPL, he started 2 games + 11 cameos (3 goals, 2 assists) and was injured for 12.
In his 2nd season in EPL, he started 9 games + 8 cameos (5 goals, 3 assists) and was injured for 11.

You can see that many times a fit Jovetic just sat on the City bench because he was just not first choice. That is unlikely at Inter. Yes, this is a risky transfer. But its as good a bet as any.
