The deal was set at 5m + 20m. We gave them the 5m for the loan, they gave us 5m for Marco Sala.

We had Gravillon involved in the deal as a dry loan which was cancelled as he opted to go to Serie B instead. Not sure how much Sassuolo considered as a penalty for that. Some have reported 5 + 25 so perhaps we have added a 5m there and we're just going to ship them another kid valued at 5m when we trigger the deal.

Either way, all the reports include Gravillon's loan which never occurred. Sassuolo initially wanted 35m and we lowered it to 25m including a couple of kids so it could be possible that the clause has been fixed at 25m now due to Gravillon's deal not taking place.

It was the same deal with Politano. 5m (Odgaard the other way) and 20m for the redemption.

My guess is that he's playing a bit 'scared' in the sense that he doesn't want to re-injure himself. He obviously had a relapse at one point and given that he wants to make the Euros I think he's not as "happy" to dive into tackles or do anything that could possibly give him an injury. Problem is that it doesn't help us at all.

Scaphoid fracture, yep, here goes the rest of the season for him. The usual recovery time for this type of injury is about 12 weeks, guess with the best medical care it can be shortened a bit but still...
