I think we need a thread about this teams and its fans. any news or pic of curva nord..some interesting articles..whatever comes to your mind. I think they do deserve a special attention.

You might think its just a claim, or a lie to forget another unsuccesfull season, but trust me its the only truth. So lets discuss the difference in symbolics of the two clubs: Eagle(Lazio sign) is the proud, honorable, lonely who flyes above everyone and controls the world, against wolf (Roma sign) sneaky, who is always with the tribe, and attacks at night, Moreover, the Eagle was the first symbol of Rome ( this is a historical fact) and not the wolf.
Therefore, the symbols are the first difference between Roma and Lazio, but lets look at the origin of the clubs to see which team is teally from Rome. So Lazio was born on the 9th of January 1900 by young boys who loved football. At the other hand As.Roma (As.merda) was created in 1927 by the fashist regime who (the name of the team was choosen by the nationalfaschist movement), united 3 teams into one. Must be noted that at this time there was a massive immigration from the south of Italy to the city of Rome. This was done by government in ordere to allow the city grow.
Futher, lets discuss the attedance of the two teams in recent years. As.Roma (as.merda) fans latley are very proud the they have more fans in the city, maybe in proportion of 8:2,even though it is a very simle proportion it is the truth and even Lazio fans admitt that. However this leads to the several factor which make Lazio fans so unique: little Lazio fan since he us born is alone and is forced to fight with more kids at the school, who always try to convience Laziale to change the team due to the numerical superiority. However, unlike romanistas Laziale dont become lazio fans, they are born to support Lazio (Laziale non lo si diventa, lo si nasce). Lazio will never be the style, it will always be the passion and the honour for those who are not scared to go against majority. Laziale is often alone in his faith because its hard for him to find another eagle;however, if they find each other often it becomes a friendship for life which goes beyond football, unlike romanistas who feel secure in the majority of the society. The recent generation of Laziali had been through very tough moments for example: bad 80s, serie B, scudetto of Roma, scandals;however, all this made lazio fans stronger and united more than ever.
A very good example of differences between Romanistas and Laziale is the way they celebrated scudetto victories. When Lazio won it was a spontanious celebration at Circo Massimo in which around 350.000 people took place and after which the city stayed the way it was before. Basicly Lazio fans tried everything not to destroy the city and took care of it. It was completly different story with Roma who organized their party and around milliion people participated. The party involved the concert of famous retard from Campobasso(who was probably trying to improve his dieing career), the striptis of actrees(some people say she has skills) who changed her football belief for the professional reasons, napoletano, frano-algerian entertainer and the clows from Rome who has cultural problems(after all they claim to be Romans). Add to this the graffiti on the famous sculptures and the change of Rome into the circus. Another interesting fact that really makes you think is that anyone who does not like football that much suddenly starts to support Roma-style of supporting Roma becomes more a fashion than the passion. Ofcourse this does not apply to all Roma fans, but to the majority.
After all when you see that Roma is such a well supported club, you must think that their attendance at the stadium is much better than Lazio's. However, this is not true at all and remember the proportion of 8:2. Lets say that Lazio has 30.000 people with abonaments and around 40.000 is the average attendance, at the same time Roma has 50.00 abonaments and around 62.000 average attendance. Thats all the difference between 8:2 ratio teams.
Now lets see the most interesting part of Roma and Lazio: ultras. Since end of the 80s when Irriducibili were created Lazio fans became the most original and notaious groups around the world. Everyone admitts that Irriducibili are the main power, especially this was shown by the change of traditional old style(ultra used by roma) with the new ultras( the belonging to the group is the main idea, english style).
With the time Irriducibili started to make beautifull coreos,one of them was even used by Coca Cola for advertising reasons. At the same time curva sud had many problems with the dissolvment of C.U.C.S and organization of ASR Ultras. At the moment curva sud started to take Nords style of supporting and this really shows which of the curvas is dominant. Moreover there is a big picture in which Nord is united, strong, origanal, and has the goal while Sud(with all respect) is unorganized and does not even have a leader. The proof is the derby where Sud can never match beauty of the Nords coreos. Ofcourse this might be temporary problems for Nord, but the reality is like this now.
Its clear that even though romanistas claim to be from Rome, this is false. They came from the south in 20s, and esteblished Roma from the 3 teams by the order of fashist regime. Their behaviour and taste is typical napolitan, they dont respect the city which is not theirs and dont even know the history. Instead they make up their own history trying to put it as truth.
