It's a great team, but I think it's more due to lack of competition. Most of the great Europeans either have aging superstars or are in transition.

I think only Madrid and Juventus are in their prime atm. Teams like Barca/Bayern are at the end of their eras, while the EPL teams are trying to rebuild. (Not even going to mention us and Milan. Atletico I don't really watch). We'll see if PSG can reach superclub status this season.

Suarez is definitely slowing down. Not the player he was two years ago. Still top class of course but he just doesn't seem to have that same explosiveness. I still feel like this coming World Cup he will be great though, it will be he and Cavani's last chance as a pair to really make waves at an international tournament.

Now that I say this I'm sure he'll prove me wrong by having an awesome season.

Sure, but given the results of Zidane's era (and a CL won with Ancelotti) they deserve to get some props and the highest praise. They are more efficient than the Real when Zidane played there. They kill teams left and right.
