Last time Messi had 2 goals 2 assists for the first time in his career in the Copa match against Espanyol. Today he already scored after a few minutes. Messi is in god mode, such a joy to watch.

The only player underperforming for Barcelona is Suarez, he is missing some easy chances.

Yeah I just saw that, wtf!? I didn't even know there was an investigation going on. The ban is in effect this summer and there's only a few days left for this transfer window. Surely they must get the punishment pushed back through some type of appellate court, otherwise they're screwed.

Lol we're nit picking here. Yes you're right not every signing will work, but how many holes does a team like real have to begin with?

Need a new CB? And a new holding midfielder? they'll buy 5 players this summer and hope 1 or 2 of them work out.

I'm more curious how Atletico will handle this. Probably sell Griezmann in the summer and try to rebuild?

IMO now is the time they definitely can't let go of Griezman. it would send the wrong signal. They need to hold onto their stars throughout that period. I know Atletico is not Barca, but they need to take a look at how Barca did it. Make some buys this summer that will really improve the squad and try and ride it out for a year. It's not the end of the world, but if things go off the rails you just can't through money at the problem like you could before, but that was never really Atletico anyways.

This will honestly be tougher for Madrid.

Idk they have vietto, oliver, & correa which should be deadly in a year or so. I think they can afford to give up griezmann and try to find more young talent to groom, since they do a damn good job of it.

Yeah but the thing is Griezman is their guarantee, he's their go to guy. If they sell him big and try to replace him with several players, what if they end up with a Tottenham type of situation when they sold Bale? That's a really bad situation if you don't have the ability to buy players.

Fernando Torres, Aguero, Forlan, Mandzukic, Diego Costa, Falcao, and now Griezmann? I'm sure they can find a replacement and make it work.

I wonder how this emphasis in the rules will affect Inter. The youth roster, from the lowest levels up, have foreign players though I have no idea how inter sign them. Might be that those players moved to Italy young, and for reason other than football, and Inter signs them from Italian academies instead of being International transfers.

If anyone finds an article that details clearly what the Spanish clubs are accused of doing wrong I'd like to read it.

Yeah my whole thing is that they only really have the summer now to prepare for a full year of no transfers. What if they make a mistake replacing Griezman this summer? They can't fix it till January of 2017. That could be a disaster, IMO unless he forces his way out you keep him. Hell they might still even win a title this year, they're Barca's biggest competition as of today.

In other news I think Simeone is the type where now he won't leave Atletico. I think he feels it might be viewed as cowardly and he cares about what the fans think of him.
