I have said it before. His level is Lazio. When things go our way we will be playing beautiful football and be productive. But when they don't, he doesn't know how to change the game from the bench and his subs rarely have a positive influence. If our aspirations are simply a top 4 finish, then Inzaghi is fine. If we want something more than that then he's not good enough.

Also i don't get his new trend of taking Barella out for a forward. He tried it first time at Bologna with disastrous results. He did it again last night against Lazio. The moment he takes Barella out we totally lose the midfield. If we wants to take a more risky approach in order to bring in a forward then take out one of the cbs and switch to a back 4. That's the way to go.

It's sad that he doesn't ever learn from his mistakes.

Reminds me of Roberto Mancini on so so so many ways. Coward, lacking balls, lacking that human depth for growth.

Milan had the best defense in the league with Kalulu and Calabria. Meanwhile Inzaghi is making Bastoni and SDV look completely incompetent. I can’t believe losing our LWB has made us look this bad. Let this be the absolute last time Gagliardini starts any game. He isn’t a Serie A player let alone one for a top team. The only things he’s good for is making coaches look dumb for thinking they can get something out of him.

He has to take responsability for yesterday that being said as always i think FIF is overreacting yes gags starting was stupid and his subs were rather bad.
That being said i think we re all a blinded by the result. First half imho was balanced and in the second half we were the better team until luis alberto scored, which btw i insist he scores this shot like that once out of 50 tries. Then we opened up to try and equalize and we conceded another one.....
Just saying the game could have easily ended in a draw and the 3:1 makes it look worse then it was.
Not saying Lazio did not deserve to win or that Inzaghi did not fuck up by starting gags and his subs especially taking off denzel were bad...

I ve read a lot of comments saying inzaghi cant change a game... or come back, last time i checked the sats we equalized or scored the wining goal after the 90st minute more often than any other serie A team.

We were better team in possession, but Lazio always looked more dangerous to me. We stalled a front of the penalty area, and the someone just crossed aimlessly the ball. Lazio from other hand tried to create a real chances, and they had a couple good ones.

Its same as last year. Nothing new in the game plan. We just cant break the defense cause none of our players is creative. We just pass from one side to the other and then instead of creating a chance we pass the ball back to De Vrij. Its horrible football.

Maybe it is possible, but the forwards have to be involved as well, not just sit and wait near the penalty area. We're just trying to pass the ball to Lukaku, and the he to deflect it to Lautaro. And this tactic worked perfectly first two rounds. I bet, that all of serie A coaches have already known how to counter this.

I’ll cut him some slack in that it can’t be easy to motivate a team when there’s clearly no project in place and everyone is wondering who the next “sacrifice” is gonna be.

That being said, Inzaghi got it very wrong yesterday, and we’ve looked shit all preseason as well. Hope this match serves as a lesson. It’s not like sacking him is really an option and would be hasty in any case.

Why did we bring Asllani and Bellanova while this dude is a coach? Insane.

That was my concern too. If the results are not so good, I expect him to bet on "proven" players like Mkhitaryian, Gagsi and Acerbi, therefore Asllani and Bellanova will get 1-2.games. Most probably in the Coppa.

Don't have one.
Bergomi: “I keep seeing nervousness and impatience, this is not good. Inter has to be able to read moments, they can’t think of dominating every game for 90 minutes, when there’s no space they have to lower themselves, give up possession of the ball to let the opponents out. What Lazio did in the game is how Conte’s Inter did it”.

Bergomi as usual spot on. This summarizes pretty well all the irks I have with inzaghi.
