Shoutbox Suggestion

I remember in a forum I was in they had the shout box at the top of the main page, I think it's more comfortable for the member to have it there because over here you have to scroll down (yes, I know I'm too lazy to scroll down) the whole way to even see the shoutbox but if you place it on top of the main page I think it will be way more active. The forum which had this was also vbulletin so it could work here. Just thought I'd let you guys know about my idea, feel free to put it down and call me lazy...

I'm sorry but the shoutbox is put there as a 'side dish' and I think it'd be unwise to put the entree in a place less viably located than it.

I agree with Han. The shoutbox is just an add on for those who like a chat feature at the forums, the main part is still the threads and those should be placed in the prominent position.

I was going to write before, that it's a good idea, but Han will probably tell that the shoutbox is just an extra, and that the threads are what this site is all about, and guess what...

There was a time when they removed the shoutbox, ppl cryed day after day fot it.. han decided to return it eventually

Yeah well, we were hosted on a paid server back then, and it was either no shoutbox, or no Forza Inter at all. (The shoutbox takes out a lot of bandwidth)
