Overrated? They have kept all of Belgium,Croatia, Spain and Portugal goalless.

They may struggle in this game due to injuries but their defense has proven their ability over multiple games.

I've seen people call it the best defense of the tournament but I think the fact they conceded so little has more to do with how the team sets up. Ounahi, Amrabat and Bono have more to do with it imho.

Belgium, Croatia and Spain are really toothless teams when it comes to scoring. Portugal would have scored if their coach hadn't panicked and started making Hail Mary type substitutions around the 50 minute mark.

I don't think their defense is superior to Croatia or France. The way they defend as a unit, as in how the team keeps shape and applies the correct kind of pressure is surely impressive, but people overrate the qualities of their defenders.

In my book, how the team sets up is part of the team's defense. And a major part of why we have such a horrible defensive record in Serie A this season.
