It does look like he's a starter. Hasn't scored any goals but I do see he won 2 penalties recently.

Good to see him keep getting starts - I'm going to assume he's doing well to keep getting starting spots.
Won his 3rd penalty in last 5 games.

Scored his first goal today, a winner away against Modena.

7 starts in a row, playing 90 minutes in 4 of those matches.

Both him and Stankovic are starters so looks like a good choice for a loan spell in this case.

good boys. really hope this is a sign of esposito getting his career back on track. I suspect, tbh, he's missed his chance to really get in at the top level (eg at a level regularly useful for us) but hopefully he can still have a decent career

Absolutely love these aggressive screamers like in the first goal. No chance for goalkeepers, also the second goal is pure elegance.

I really think he will offer more than Sanchez at this point. I can totally see him getting play time if he stayed here.
Like even coming on around 75 mins of we are leading 2:0, like he is more useful, at least gets the basic right

Looked to have a good game today based on highlights. Got an assist and the second goal also came from his shot. Sampdoria have won 5 of the last 6 games and are looking better.

He's a full starter now and has looked very involved in all of the highlights I've seen (from the last 5 matches or so).

Seba is talented as fuck. Still just only 21. Would be nice to see him end up double digits this season. His brother Pio is also starting for Spezia at the age of 18. He’e more of a pure striker than Seba.

Both are really talented. Would be nice to see them both at Inter once they are ready.

Given his young age he had quite a good loan spell at Basel two seasons ago. He really sucked at Anderlecht, after a really good pre-season. He ended past season well with Bari also.

The biggest problem for now is, he lacks consistincy and end product. That’s also due his age.

Serie B is a hard league to score. If he scores 10 and assists 5 he had a really good season imo.

I wouldnt call Basel a massive success, he was dropped from the team 2? 3? times

the top scorer in serie B is already on 9 goals for the season, the year before top 2 were 25 and 19

it deoends what he wants to do, but if he wants to be a good Serie A level player, he needs to maintain his current rate for the season. You'd hope he could, as well. The style of goal we're seeing him score is good, and gives me hope for his future, he just needs to maintain consistency.

This is the thing. 21 is still comparatively young but for any top player, they should be decent level first team regulars by the time they're 21. Dimarco is probably one of the very few exceptions but like it's all about production and experience. Look at how we keep having to try to justify agoume for example.

I partly agree. But the development curve is the different for everyone.

21 years old is still quite young. Scamacca and Raspadori had their breakthrough year’s at that age for example. Serie A level tho. Thuram had his breakthrough year at 21 at Ligue 1 level too. Seba is a bit behind that scheme. But it isn’t a disadventage you can’t overcome. Victor Boniface was at the Norse League at that age for example. And Andrea Colpani was a substitute at Serie B.

But this is the season he has to show something, will he end up somewhere good. If that’s Fiorentina level or Inter level is a second thought.

I agree it's different for everyone, but in general it's not unfair to say Esposito is a bit behind where he should have been.

His start to the season has been good, if he can maintain this level I dream of a double Esposito partnership at inter for a few years

Just a shame he wasted a couple of years but tbh if that's what is needed to get his attitude into the right place to take advantage of the opportunities in front of him it's no bad thing. On a base level of talent determination work rate and experience is critical arguably more do than some of the talent

Esposito for me is not a pure striker. So, I don't expect a lot of goals from him, but it would be nice if we can keep him longer, even if he is on loan somewhere. He looks really talented.

If he can have a good season in Serie B then he can get back on track. Jorginho had his breakthrough season in Serie B at 21 if I'm not mistaken.

Next year he needs to be getting consistent minutes in Serie A, and if he can also express himself there then we could be talking about a guy that could help Inter in his mid 20s.

I read there is an obligation clause of around 7 million if Sampdoria make it back to Serie A. We also have a buy-back clause it seems.

Does anyone know a source that would have official numbers regarding players we loaned out? I'm interested about Oristanio? I believe Oristanio, Esposito, and Stankovic all have an option/obligation attached.

Zanotti and Carboni would be pure loans I believe.
