So it ends 
Well beaten over 2 legs.
In all honesty, we never got going this season.
Over the course of this season, we have exhausted every single known excuse. But I will stick to my opinion that great coaches play to their team's strengths. Something that lacked during the 1st half of the season under Rafa, for various reasons, and one that is so evident so far under Leo.
From the match:
Raul's involvement was such a joy to watch. His 1st goal was classic. The 2nd was just brilliant.
With Schalke closing down, we were offered so many chances from set pieces. Besides our goal, I don't recall any threats from the others.
In the end, I just want to thank the players that actually gave it a go. Even if some of them weren't on form, you can see how dedicated and determined they were to do something. I'm also sure that some of the players on the bench would have done the same. As for the very few that couldn't care less, I hope you find another club to spoil you.
