Duncan is 20, home grown, a revelation at Livorno last season. And he is a DM, the kind of player we need.

Taider is 21, two seasons at Bologna where he showed promise, and he is more of a regista.

Regista is one of the few positions where we are well covered. Kovacic is doing well there, and clearly Alvarez can play in that role as well if required. We have no money, do we really need to spend 6m for half of a young regista with potential?

Why not spend 8m for half of someone like Nainggolan instead? Or Diarra, who may be available on a loan with an option to buy?

So a 20 year old who was awesome at the U-20 World Cup isn't ready but a 21 year old who was pretty good at Bolonga is ready? How many small team players have we gotten and failed. I never seen Taider play but just find it so funny that people shit on our youth players so much. I really wanted Quintero here but then I saw Duncan finally playing at the U-20s and man he just seemed like the player we needed. Instead of giving him a shot or fing loaning him we are benching him for that fat piece of shit making 4.5 million euro Cambiasso(does it piss anyone else off he is the 2nd highest paid player on the team?)

I have seen Taider play, and I still agree with you. The main reason is that Duncan is a DM. Inexperienced yes, but he is a better fit with the kind of player we need. Taider is a neat midfielder, a regista with good tackling ability. He will rotate the ball around, probably combine well with Kova, and even win a few balls. But he is not the physically imposing DM that we need.

Ideally, I would rather Inter make just 1 signing, but it should be a top DM - I don't care if its a 30 year old, but we need someone who is good now. Duncan could become his understudy. We should not be spending precious money on luxuries like Taider, who is a good player.

because at napoli I saw mazzari play two CM at the same time rather than use his player as pure DM
after he come to Inter, he being forced to used a pure DM to fill that hole in our midfield because our CM doesnt satisfied him yet,,
when our player can play as mazzari wants,, I can see he will play 3-4-1-2 more than 3-5-2
