if Eto'o is happy to play as a winger striker...
fine with me, he did well and the team is winning...
his goals are not the most important....

It is also important to note that he's a right-footed player playing on the right wing making it a lot harder to score than if he had been playing on the left.

Et'o plays further back and does more defensive work than Milito, what do you guys expect? If you swap positions between the 2 then I am sure Eto'o would have more goals than Diego. It's a lot easier to score when you are don't have to backtrack as much (not saying Diego doesn't do his share, but come on Eto'o plays like a 2nd RB sometimes FFS) and can stand on the last defender's shoulder all game.

I also agree except with you saying Eto'o would score more than Milito. Milito is one of the most clinical strikers in the world, Eto'o is know for screwing up simple chances

in the same breath.....Eto'o creates more chances than most other strikers in the world who are better at finishing, due to his work ethics and timely runs.

However, Milito is also a team player and no stranger to creating chances for his teammates...

Yeah, I think he's especially good at finding other teammates in the box.

Eto'o: 'Inter can win it again'
Sunday 23 May, 2010
Samuel Eto’o may be on his third Champions League triumph, but he is confident “Inter can win it again even without Jose Mourinho.”

The Cameroon international had already lifted the trophy twice with Barcelona and joined his teammates in celebrating last night after a 2-0 victory over Bayern Munich.

“It is very satisfying. The most important thing was to win this trophy and that’s what we achieved,” said Eto’o.

“This Inter can continue winning even without Mou, but I don’t know yet if he really will be going.”

Mourinho said he is likely to join Real Madrid in order to face a new challenge, something that Eto’o recognises.

“After you have won so much it can become difficult, but what makes you keep going is that hunger to get back to the victory.

“That way you can have no regrets when you finally retire.”

Eto’o becomes the 11th player to have won this competition at least three times, just one behind Clarence Seedorf on four.
