It's a sign he'll be returning to his former glory as a LB actually.

Shit.. make him take a wage cut and and a short term deal. Eto'o at 35 is still better than Osvaldo.

 :serious: :chan:

If he agrees to reduce his wages I'd take him back with open arms.

He can be the SS we need and for free! He would probably be better than all our other strikers.

What's wrong with a 1 year contract with about 2-3 million wages? We have nothing to lose.
He would never lower his wages, as he went to Russia while still in his prime for MONEY.

I would rather promote Puscas than pay today's Eto'o :palm: We are not fighting for Scudetto right now, we are building for the future. Such a contract for Eto'o would make no sense for us.

What`s wrong with a contract 2-3m wages? Ask Eto'o :trollol:

You have no valid point here. You are just assuming that Eto'o wouldn't lower his wages.

I think he would lower his wages. You want to tell me that Everton are Everton are paying him some astronomical figures?!

You guys haven't followed Samu's career much if you think he would lower his wage. There is a bigger chance of zlatan taking a wage cut then samu ever...

He was making 20 million per year at Anzhi. You want to tell me he is making the same amount of money at Everton?!

I'm sure he took a cut to join Chelsea.

Exactly

His ego aside, I'm 100% sure that Everton is not paying the most expensive wage in football.

That's a very reasonable wage IMO. We should've signed him! Cheap one year contract and we could've got ourselves that SS that we really need!

- - - Updated - - -

eto'os wage went from 20m to 8m at chelsea apparently

and according to this eto'o is on like 3.5-4m (pre-tax, so Italian 2.5-3m euros) at Everton
http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/aug/26/samuel-etoo-signs-everton

Correction:

3.5-4 million pretax would be 1.75-2m Italian.

That's fucking cheap! We had nothing to lose, why didn't we sign him?!!!
