Technically, we didn't save anything since we incurred a BIGGER loss in 2011.

The first of half of that match was one of the most painful moments of my Inter life, alongside the second half of Schalke game.

god i miss this beast of a man. C'mon guys we always had great strikers, so cant really compare milito, etoo and ibra. I am glad we had the privilege to watch all these players in their prime. But if your specifically talking about 2009 season, yes ofcourse milito was the best.

We'd had to sell half our squad to match his 20m wages..

Just Milito + Sneijder.

Milito was indisputably the best in 09/10. But that's two fold - one was Eto'o playing on the wing (or as he called it, right back) and still scored 15? 16? 17? goals.

The next season when they both played up front was a whole different story.

I only miss him tbh, as a player. I dont think the rest would've helped us too much, in this form they are and were while at Inter after the treble.

But with eto we would have had MUCH stronger team :(

What the fuck happened in that game for him to do that on the penalty?

I miss this guy a lot, but there clearly were issues in adjusting him and Milito in the same lineup and of course both are too good to be benched. One of them had to leave, and either ways it would have been sad.

Why has Milito do with his transfer? It was his wage and ONLY his wage why we sold him.

Yes, it was his wage. But do you think both could fit in the same team? Eto'o had already begun making noises that he doesn't want to play on wing.

Of course. How can we play Cassano-Milito-Palacio? He would've fit perfectly well as the left forward... Besides, him and Milito are totally different player, even tho both prefer central role. IMO they would compliment each other perfectly well :)
