Mancini: The changes in defense? We started with three central defenders, Perisic to the right and Telles to the left. That’s Perisic’s position and we put him there because we wanted him to attack Alonso. At 3-0 we played 4-4-1 not to let more goals in and when we scored the 1-3 goal, we put Palacio as striker again hoping to score another goal.

because even if we are still...2nd with the same number of points as Fiora at 1st positon,we don't play very well,we got asphalted by Fiora today,we never rly dominated an opponent by now...and that is worrying...we had a nice start(points wise)but our game is shitty...and if we continue in this scrap winning manner Scudo is a dream or even CL football for that matter.OK anyone can beat anyone but we got raped by Fiora...at fucking our "CASA"
We should be more dominant against smaller teams and not get asphalted by a first bigger team that cames across...good thing that our rivals are doing even shittier than we are with their schedule.
I consider a CL finish a success...but I won't be surprised that we don't make it tbh.

It's not realistic to change the entire defense after one game and before the derby with Juve. It'll shoot the confidence of the players down and it's gamble to experiments in this period unless the tactical shift tonight taught us nothing.

Juan is needed as a leftback more than any of those guys especially the ones who are seemingly one foot out of the door like Montoya.

i have no problem seeing d ambrosio or montoya as a starter for this one. while ranocchia and murillo played on the back.

mancini might need to consider using winger in its ideal function which consist of ljajic, icardi, and perisic.

as for the midfield, i would prefer melo, medel, and kondogbia/brozovic.

Annoyed that our back 4 will once again be different to last game. The Murillo-Miranda partnership looked good and they are both decent players. The only player to not get injured is Santon and tbh the way he has played in the last 2/3 games I wish he had. Would give either D'ambrosio or Montoya a chance to show they aren't content with just rotting on the bench. Hopefully Medel can move back to midfield/the bench soon.
