I do wonder if more than a few crumblings of our defence could have been avoided had Handa offered verbal assistance to of DFs. And there's his tendency to not even make an attempt when a field player is at fault.

He certainly has strengths that his predecessor didn't have, but the converse is also true. I think that explains why one is an LGI player, and the other unlikely to join the distinguished roster.

Handanovic: 'My worst Inter moment'

Inter's Samir Handanovic says he understands the fury of the club's fans following the defeat to Sassuolo. The Nerazzurri were on the receiving end of a 2-1 home loss to the Neroverdi, a result which means they have lost six times in their last eight matches.

Speaking post-match, the goalkeeper admits this is the most difficult period since his arrival at the club.

"I understand them, I have been in this situation for five years," Handanovic told reporters. "Inter can't find themselves in this situation in the League table.

"You have to be patient, but only up to a certain point. It's the most difficult moment since I've been here.

"I don't know what to say to them because I don't want to take the mickey out of anyone. It's hard for the players too."
