Handanovic: ‘Scudetto still the target’

Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic insists “the Scudetto remains the goal” and welcomes “top player” Eder.

The Nerazzurri haven’t won any of their last three Serie A games, and face the Derby della Madonnina with city rivals Milan on Sunday night.

“Nobody likes to lose, but you have to be balanced in everything,” Handanovic told Premium Sport.

“We have to work hard to rediscover the solidity we’ve lost in the last few months. I don’t think concentration is our problem, but there are times when things don’t go well.

“It happens to every team at some point in the season, the Scudetto remains the goal.”

Eder is set to join the Beneamata from Sampdoria, and the Slovenian international welcomes his arrival.

Scudetto could have been the target but we have focused too much in the 'top3' target and we forgot that we could have competed for the scudetto since we were tons of points ahead of juve and few points ahead of napoli/roma, but we dropped points against shit teams due to an incompetent coach.

We are not gonna win scudetto this season, let's just hope that top3 will happen at least.

Yeah Niang. Not sure it was a great save though, because the ball came back out to Niang & the goal was then left open for him to roll it in.

The goal being open is not Handanovic's fault nor does it take away from the great save. It was a one-on-one, he had to try and cut the angle. He did great with the same. I feel bad for him, he's having an amazing season.
