I do not like players who will turn 30 but if he is good and so i do not see problems with age if thats not affecting his play. If he will join Milan he will be 20+ at the end of the season. And then half of you will be cryin. Why do aou all say that he is only good in the box. But that exactly what we need. The man at right place at the right time. :?

If he will join Milan they will be champions next year sure. Kaka and Pirlo will fill him with balls and he will score like eating candys.

You're right about the smaller club part Ashkan, but in my view it's not as risky as somebody who's coming from another league. And Toni was always able to score against the big clubs even in Palermo times.

I don't see him failing wherever he goes.
True, I too always consider a player with Serie a experience as having an distinct advantage over someone coming from another league. However, as I mentioned before Toni is very similar to Bobo in his style of play. And we all know how Adri and Bobo couldn’t cut it together. Hence to me that is another valid reason why Ruud would be a better option. Basically IMO there are more pros than cons when I compare the 2 and for me Ruud is the better option and less riskier of the two.

I think that also ruud wont worke with adri!!!!
And he ll cost us a whole lot of monel even if he s past !!
I realy dont want to see him wearing our shirt we have to look fore players who have a future and not finished ones!!

Once again the problem is that we can't afford players with only a future, we need players with a 'present'. Look at Milan, they could afford to get Gila who had a mediocre season, failing to score with any big team or in the CL, but they don't HAVE TO WIN THE SCUDETTO RIGHT NOW!!! as we do...

He is certainly is not my # 1 choice, however what I'm trying to say is that if hypothetically we are left with him or Toni then I'd rather take Ruud for the reasons that I’ve mentioned.

I understand u frisko that we need succes right now, but i dont think that ruud with he s current form can lead us to the scudetto!!!
I also think that if adri stays ruud will be a total waste of Money we d better go after Tavano, Drogba who would be cheaper and worke well togheter with adri!!

J zanetti i dont understand why u think ruud would worke better togheter with adri the Toni! I realy think both of them wont work with adri and i dont want them!!!

Lolz, I read somewhere that ManU want Cambiasso inexchange for Ruud. Thats gonna be a new low for us, if we agree that deal, that would be even wrose than Cannavaro's deal. Even if Cambiasso is not part of the transaction and Ruud will be costing us around $15mill, WE SHOULDNT DO IT.
Ruud simply cant inspire the team, he plays with the team. If the team is playing well, he will play well, if it isnt then he wont. He is the last person you need, when we are in Madrigal situation. Plus he is 29, and has got no experience in SERIEA, and dosent look like one of those that can settle easily into it.
If he comes really cheap, then only I will take him. (we can always return him back to some prem club after one year :D)

we're forever gonna argue about whether a player can deliver from one league to another, it is always brought up when a scenario like this is occuring.

to me, this is the only true player-league problems:

English players outside of EPL (exc. the exceptional ones, Gerrard, Rooney etc).
Spanish players in Italy (none).
Slow players in EPL (Veron etc).

other than that, no problems. Ruud in Serie A does not mean he will lose his finishing skills.

LOOOL I think you have noticed that I hate cry babies. Anyway as I said before he surely isn’t a first choice of mine. BUT if I had to pick between him and Toni I’ll def go for Ruud.
