He has talent, for sure. The question is if he ready to Serie A.

promising, like i already said he will need confidence of the coach and he will be able to adapt quicker. if we get him and sanchez and isco then that would be nice. so bring on the investors.

botta is also supposedly good with both feet, so thats a plus.

Sanzchez and Isco? Yeah, and then we will get Messi or CR7.

How many times have you watched him play? Forget the stats and youtube videos just tell me how many times have you watched and what are his strengths and weakness as you are judging him and even predicting how he will play in Serie A.

IIRC, you never watched him and only went by how many starts he had in the league.

The step from Argentinian league to Serie A is too great. No mattered how talented you are, you are always going to struggle at least for the first season.

Not necessarily true but tbh I kind of agree with you. But again it depends on the players. Thiago Silva played well in his first season, Lucas has played well against Barca, Oscar did very well for Chelsea and Rafael when he was just 18 was decent player and contributed in his first season.

‘Ruben Botta designs football. If Inter doesn’t do stupid things, they will have one of the top five players in the world. Phenomenon.’

oh you mean like not playing him for half the season, then bringing him on in the 85th min being 2-0 down expecting him to do something and then getting injured 2 games later for the rest of the season?

yeah but the brazilian league is on a higher level than the Argentinian league. The Brazilian league is more on par with Holland or Turkey let's say. It's more of a medium league, which a lot of players have come through, i.e. Ibra, Suarez, etc...

The Argentinian league, except Boca, is on the level of a Czech/Greek/Switzerland without Basel league.

Then again, Botta performs much better in Copa Libertadores than he does in Ergentinean league. :)

It's about the player, the space in all south american leagues is way greater than in Europe. He might struggle, but to get decent contribution at first would be enough. We will see how he comes with the pressure of Europe and Serie A, he might go both ways.

remember edu vargas,, he's had a great season at south america before move to napoli
and now he loaned out to gremio or something,,
Botta could be a real gem like lavezzi, pastore or palacio but he could be failed too like others,,
hope he will adapt quick to italian football,,

Edu Vargas should have been loaned. He didn't get enough time at Napoli to really adapt. Needed a good season or two in a mid table team. To bad, he looked like a potential star.

I believe Vargas is great potential, and even now great player. He didn't play one full game at Napoli, they made huge mistake for not trusting in him imo.

Edu Vargas is a great player already today. If we get him, it will be fantastic.

It's good to see that not only Inter fails at giving young players their chance

Napoli is also bad at that tbh... Insigne since Pandevs return barely touches the grass, gets like 15-20 minutes per game, Vargas didn't play at all, that Radosevic guy is in primavera and came as "great potential ready for first team football", not to mention El Kaddouri.
