Argentina has been disappointing so far. Their game isn't convincing and also they seem to have a hard time on dealing with pressure. Though competition in this World Cup is pretty poor, and yet I'm not even sure if they are still my strongest candidate to seal the trophy. I thought they are ready to deliver in this tournament, but I was wrong.

As it looks from the draw, a semi-final between Argentina and Brazil is inevitable and I think Brazil has a higher chance of reaching the final considering that latter ones were significiantly better and also had a tougher group in the first place.

All I know is that someone will surprise the world in this round. Australia, Senegal, Morocco or Japan. One 'big ' will fall.

Senegal is as good as England IMO.

This Argentina is really missing Lo Celso. I think Argentina will score first and then it's game over for Australia. Australia is good on the break, but bad at defending dead ball situations. Argentina to score from a corner in the second half.

Argentina lost to the Saudis, who are about fifteen spots below Australia in the FIFA rankings.

He didnt deserve when di maria was there
Trio di maria messi and alvarez , momentaly are better
But now with di maria injured i think Lauti deserved to be starting, for this kind of games he doesnt have pressure and delivers, while gomez is shit

Australia crowding Messi and the rest of the Argentina squad kind don’t seem to know where to go with the ball.

Goat, scoring goals on his own, no need to claim his teammates goal

Individual brilliance from Messi. but Australia were playing really well in the first 30 min before that foul by the box screwed them
