Chelsea is stupid not to accept

And we're even dumber to make such an offer.

Also, 7m net for Lukaku in his 30s, especially without the decree, is absolute economic suicide.

Basically we're selling Onana to pay this deal and Brozovic to clear up salary space

Let's just hope it doesn't happen like that. If Onana is sold, we still need to see if any of our wingbacks will also be sold. There are so many balls still to be juggled that Lukaku could only be brought last amongst all of them, if at all.

Lukaku as the net salary king of this team is travesty. Specially as the tax reduction goes away after the incoming season since then he becomes the gross salary king aswell.

If we can get him for under 15m or 15m euros, I would be perfectly ok with it.

I can't get past the idea of bringing in a striker who is worse with the ball at his feet than the goalkeeper who is being sold to fund the move
THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🤯

Obligation to buy is a massive mistake.
Chelsea are stupid but not THAT stupid. Why would they accept another OPTION to buy? Inter would just keep on going like this with loans

Page three of today’s La Gazzetta dello Sport details how Inter have prepared a new offer for Lukaku, hoping to sign the Chelsea striker on a €5m loan deal with a €30m obligation to buy clause attached, with result-based add-ons that could further increase the figures.
Are they desperate with July coming up or something?

Does anybody know if there is the necessitiy to have continuity for the growth decree to keep applying?

What else can Chelsea do than loan him where he wants to go? They can keep him but good luck keeping such player in the stands / u23 squad, paying him 24m gross.

Let's get rid of Brozovic's big salary so we can cover Lukaku's bigger salary. #InterProject

Zhang is the perfect description of “once you go black you don’t go back”
Thing is Onana is black too. Unless Lukaku did something to Zhang that Onana didn't, which seems to be the case.

The key question here is whether Lukaku can be a leader on this team. Leaders aren't going to show up out of shape and require much of the season to get their game online. And if you're paying a guy as a leader and that's what he is, you're in trouble.

So Lukaku carries a ton of risk and more than usual because if they prioritize him with as tight a budget as they have and he isn't that leader they need... They're done.

Is he ready to live up to all that talent instead of cruising around using it to tread water. Honestly I don't have an answer there. No idea. I love the player and have been consistent in that but timing is a big part of these moves and it might be too much effort and uncertainty to get it done.

Chelsea and Inter Milan have allegedly made progress in their efforts to reach an agreement over the transfer of Romelu Lukaku.

According to 90min, there are signs that the relevant parties are prepared to reach an agreement over a deal as they bid to end the saga involving the 30-year-old.

A season-long loan deal with an obligation to buy is said to be the most likely option at this stage, a scenario which could theoretically suit Chelsea providing that they can still meet all their FFP requirements this summer

For fun, I have read some Chelsea forums. Most of them there blame Inter for not buying him outright and some even demand that Inter should return money for their failed purchase.
