If he was a man, he'd stay at Chelsea and suck it up. But money prevails

If ACM getting Lukaku with Tonali money, means Inter will get Frattesi I would be ok with that. I like Lukaku a lot, but a top Italian talent who wants to stay in Italy is better for Inter imo

Milan aren't paying 40m plus all the wages for Lukaku, forget about it. Lukaku has no incentive to cut wages for Milan whatsoever either. Just forget about that.

So Chelsea either force him to Saudi or deal with the reality of a flop. And that reality is not worth 40m and all the wages whether Chelsea like it or not. Suck it up and sell Lukaku for like 20m and subsidize his wages, or keep a toxic unhappy players. The 40m price tag is basically Chelsea hanging on Saudi's interest with no regards to reality at all.

No. He pushed for Inter return, but it seems that Chelsea are firm in their decision to sell him. He has 3 choices for now. Stay at Chelsea, mostly on the bench, and collect all the hate of fans and media. Go to Milan, or get the money of Saudis.
His choice is the most logical one.

Chelsea are firm because it's still early and they have been doing well will Havertz and all those sales to Saudi. They are very likely to ship Mount for a good price too. There's room for them to drag this on for a while. But by late July and Lukaku still hasn't budged, expect them to loosen up.
Right now there are 3 options for Lukaku, Saudi Inter and Chelsea, forget about Milan.

Havertz is close to joining Arsenal.

We should try to keep him cause he is pretty useful against mid to bottom table clubs. God help us if Correa becomes our third choice.

I hope he fucks off. I do not care how good he is against mid-table and bottom teams. When we needed him most in the Champions League final he failed to deliver. As a result, there is absolutely no reason why we should keep him on.

His time with Inter has come and gone. And it could be argued that it actually ended when Conte departed. I do not want him to be a continued presence at the club because I do not want to be reminded of his failures every time I see him on the pitch.
