I think what handoyo's trying to say is that vieri is now in a good mood..
he was in horrible mood (when he didn;t celebrate) and he could not play..

if vieri or any other players in good mood, we can expect the best out of them...

vieri, cassano, delpiero, totti, maldini, nesta, canna, buffon, zambrotta and toldo...
form probably the strongest italian team ever...

if i were vieri, it will be hard not to be good friends with the other players at NT...

You imagine what would´ve happened if we won, that should be our biggest concern. Our confidence would be sky high, instead it´s not. Now if Lazio wins their match, then we are 7 points behind 4th place. You want us to continue ths bad form? We probably lost, because we are cursed. Cursed ´cause Inter´s own fans dont want them to win.

Tommi: I don't want us in the CL next season. This sounds crazy but I'm serious.

We missed the CL for 3 seasons in a row before Cuper came. But I don't remember us selling a lot of players. Yes, we accumulated some debt but it was also because of the sky-high wage. We can afford to miss next season's CL IMO. Besides, I don't want Inter to get too much money or else they'll spend it uselessly, getting players like Cambiasso etc. I hope that if we're concentrated in the Serie A, just like in 01/02, we'll have a good league campaign.

I have to admit that I hate the current CL. IMO there's nothing to do with champions, if teams who were in 4th position can particiapte in it. IMO only champions and maybe cup winners should be there.

I've actually never wanted Inter in CL until we win lo scudetto, after that CL is fine, because then we deserve the place there.

True Jake. I think it's sort of a 'marketing' move by the UEFA so that there'll be more matches which means more revenue to them. IMO, there should be only 2 represantatives from each league.

What's one more pathetic season compared to one more scudetto for Milan? This season is already so far gone anyway. I highly doubt that even a win against Roma would boost our confidence "sky high". It has to do with different priorities then. If you feel that this season can be salvaged and you can live with Milan having one more scudetto than Inter, then it is perfectly alright for you to feel annoyed that we lost to Roma. For myself, i find that living with one more horrid season out of the many years i have been an Interista is alright as long as it means that we stop Milan from achieving their aims.

And the current Champions League is a joke. Half of the teams in the CL aren't even champions of any sort.

Ciao,
Tim

Tommi, you made it sound like it´s a usual thing that Inter fans root against their own team. This was actually the first time I´ve experienced that since I became a fanatic.

So it´s not like it´s a curse when it was a once-in-a-lifetime thing. Well, until we face Juve that is. :D

Jimmy: When it comes to Juve, sorry but I won't be supporting them. ;) Although I hate Milan more than Juve, the sight of those old $luts lifting up the Scudetto for the 28th time is also hard to be swallowed.

Nobody accused the Laziali when they made it openly clear they were supporting Inter on May 5. :) Sometimes, it is not just so much whether you support your team all the way. Occassionally, you have to ask yourself what is really best for the team. And like i mentioned, this is where our opinions deviate.

But Lazio wasn´t at the same situation than we were Tim-meh. :)

It was last match of the season and it didn´t matter if they win or lose. Now we still have plenty of games to go and i think we all should´ve been supported our team. I just feel that win or lose for Roma against us, Milan would be a champ.

No big deal, but you guys are Roma fans from now on. :p

Actually, Tommi, Lazio had I believe a fourth place to compete about. Or it was a UEFA Cup spot. I believe it was Uefa actually.

So they also had something to play for. They even had the edge and their fans still wanted them to lose, while our chances look and looked non-existant for achieving what we want.

I care about CL. ;) Where I can see any signs of us actually getting there. I see nothing that indicates that we will have any chance of competiting with Lazio.

They would have had chances to the fourth and UCL spot place if Milan had taken a false step at their game.

I must say that I kinda agree with Tommi. Personally I supported Inter until the 2-0 when I got pissed and went to sleep.

I also think that the Lazio game was a bad example because Lazio's defeat would have surely prevented Roma's (and Juventus') Scudetto opportunities. There weren't defintely THAT much chances for us to affect Scudetto race in the Roma match. If we were in the last match and our defeat could prevent Milan's Scudetto for sure with a loss I would shout my the team lose. But that wasn't absolutely the case now.

Personally I don't care UCL that much because of reasons Jake already mentioned. The money would be cool anyway if they were used smartly (to pay debts).

Well I guess different fans have different 'degree of hatred' towards Milan. For fans like Jimmy, Tim and me; we'd rather lose than win and reducing Roma's Scudetto chance a lot. Whereas for Tommi and Antti, you guys maybe didn't hate Milan as much as we do or you are more pessimistic that there's no way Milan would have lose the Scudetto. It's fine, really. Since different people have different way of thinking. ;)

Sure we have a chance, just believe in your team, support them whenever needed.

IF YOU BUILD IT, HE WILL COME...

Already explained why I wanted us to lose. And already explained that I don´t consider our chances to be realistic considering how low our morale currently are.

And I´m a realistic person, not an optimist.

Jimster, our mentality might be disastrous but we are slowly healing... We have to give Zac some of the credit for this.

Cordoba today:

"The defence is letting in a lot of goals? We still have to speak with the coach and clear up all the situations related to the goals we let in at Roma. We'll be focused and have the right determination against Benfica, and this situation just has to give us even more strength."

Adani today:

How are you psychologically?
"Well. When you work with maximum commitment and dedication you have a clear conscience. This is an unfortunate period. We played a good match in Rome and we paid more than we should have. We continue to give everything. In general we must try and make as few mistakes as possible and take better advantage of the many chances we create. We really want to do well."
