I will change the name of this topic later on tonight when we know who's playing. ;)

Well this is our first final in 5 years and the last time we won a trophy was in 1998 - so if we win this Coppa Italia it would be a great weight off our shoulders. This was the Inter squad that last won the Coppa Italia:

We'll play the 2nd leg at the S. Siro, we'll have the chance to lift it in front of the Boys. We must do it. :star:

But they have something to play for. Udinese will have at least UEFA Cup spot (which Roma will get by winning the Coppa) and possibly even CL spot so maybe they wouldn't have played with all their best players (holiday for them?). But, this is the situation now, we face Roma and that's it. I'm sure we're fully capable of winning the Coppa.

They might be totally demoralized after getting relegated as well. :D

Considering our form at the moment, and their dramatic situation, we should destroy them. We should close the tie at the Olimpico and celebrate in Milan.

I can't wait for a repeat of the Olimpico match, that 3-3 tie really fed me up more than any other tied match.
Will Mihailovic be the hero oince again like in San Siro?
It will be a very nice match indeed!

Hmm, I've missed something. Because our CL qualifying place is sure, Coppa Italia's winner's UEFA Cup spot goes to the runner-up of the final, so Roma earned the UEFA cup place by going to final. So both have just the trophy to win, nothing more. (of course the chance to beat juventus at the start of next season in Supercup final, or what was it)

We should rip Roma apart.

Adriano hopefully will be back for this one (on form).

The most they can get is a 1-0 or 2-1 win at home, but at the San Siro they don't stand a chance.

It's become more important to win this cup, as it would mean that we would have the chance to win 2 cups - Coppa Italia and Super Italia Cup or stg like that.

Inter bt Roma
Inter bt Juventus

Those 2 cups would not be bad for our season.
