See this is the selective memory I'm talking about. It's as if that massive off-side goal, Chivu's stepping on Toni and Julio Cesar's tackling of Cassetti never happened.

With all due respect. JCesar's tackle was a penalty?!!!! Chivu's stepping was on purpose??

Didnt Toni grab/throw himself on the ball before the whistle went, how about bringing your selective memory to the table and remembering their dives?!!

See, I pointed out that Morganti shoudnt be blamed, its not just this game, the whole point is rules have to be applied both ways. Wasnt Adri banned for an eternity for diving, I'd like to see 2-3 Roma players get banned. Huntelaar should be banned 3 weeks. Totti literally asked the ref to f*** off(got nothing) whereas, Sneijder applauding was a what 2 game ban.

Now isnt that selective memory?

Anyways for my fellow Interisti and not some people who have come here to boast, we played like crap and still could have escaped with a draw in minute 95. I know its not easy to be positive after a loss to a team full of girls:dielaugh: who havent slept for a week or so, who rolled on the floor they were so tired. We will still win it.

The ref didn't cause us to lose. He wasn't great but the culprits are julio and lucio for gifting roma two goals and milito for missing at least two good chances, one of which came right before roma scored their second.

Now the race is likely to go down to the last week. Only positive from tonight is we usually put in big performances in europe this season after losing in serie a, lost to juve and catania before the rubin and chelsea games.

Ok guys calm down a bit its simply our destiny to lose the ref had a good game sometimes it was in favor to us and sometimes against us.
You know sometimes you think that the ball doesn't want to go in like it has its own will,
four or three post hits assures this statement.

How can someone blame ref after game like this?

He had bad moments, FOR BOTH sides. We scored goal from CLEAR OFFSIDE so shut a fukc up and acts like gentlemens.

You can't compare Lucio mistake with Cesar's, Lucio played fantastic game. Maybe he made a mistake but that plumper cross from Tadei was pure luck.

Also, if we have to blame someone its Mou, we(I) praise him a lot when we win so its only fair.

Deki has been fatigued since his return from injury, playing him against Roma was like playing a snail against a Ferrari. We needed physicality in the midfield, someone who could stand up and be strong and then move the ball on to Cuchu/Motta/Sneijder, i.e. Mariga. Deki is one of my fav's but he isnt suited against a team like Roma.

Why dont we start with an aggressive formation especially if we are planning to hold the ball once we get the lead and worst case draw the game? Why do we have to wait till minute 60? When we have Q/Pandev/Balo in reserves I'm sure we will not run out of steam.

Why play J.Z. and 3 DM's? You are basically sure there will be no space on our left side for our opponents to attack with J.Z.

Why play Eto'o out on the left wing again after what we learnt in midweek?

Yes. Julio Cesar was off-balance after Cassetti had gone by him, and his left knee made contact with Cassetti's right foot. it's the classic penalty foul goalkeepers commit.

Chivu's stepping was on purpose??

of course not, he just lost control of his foot which happened to step up and land on the leg of another player who happened to be on the ground. clearly unintentional.

Football isn't really the macho type of sport. Also, it may sound weird but diving =/= simulation. The latter is punishable with suspensions, while most of the times dives are used to exaggerate committed fouls. While it may be morally wrong (and I personally wish it would stop), there is no were in the rulebook anything that can be done to stop this.

Totti literally asked the ref to f*** off(got nothing) whereas, Sneijder applauding was a what 2 game ban.

Firstly...come on now, bringing up events from over 3(??) years ago is weak sauce. We could probably keep going back in time all day long. And plus, please, don't use the straw man argument. You're making assumptions on my opinions.

Both are mistakes. You can argue which one is bigger, fact remains both cost us goals. Lucio cleared it poorly which meant when the cross came back in he was out of position since he was marking toni .

You totally missed the point and I dont want to get in a mud slinging game like you said it would go on for days. Its not about tonights game, but if roles were reversed and we did what Roma did, Inter would play the next game with a lot of suspensions.

Maybe I didnt make myself clear, but atleast we agree Morganti shouldnt be blamed. Let us focus on Inter now. Thanks.

And this "undeserved loss" "frustrated by ref decisions" started immediately.
And this is not true how ?

(the first part, not the ref part)

Also, if we have to blame someone its Mou, we(I) praise him a lot when we win so its only fair.
That's fair, but I have to point out, that we weren't worse than Roma. If we didn't deserve to loose, then deffinetly we should get a draw, if we take all the chances into account for both sides.

A draw might be the most fair result.

Not taking the blame from Jose, as maybe there should be some blame this time, but he did make the right sub with Pandev, our team did look a lot better in second half, we had chances, but it was players who didn't make them goals, not Mourinho.

If we would play in second half as anonymous, as in the first half for the most part, I would be more willing to blame this on Jose.

How the hell are we gonna to line up our back 4 against Bologna with all the suspensions. We have the ordinary back 4 all out. Add to that Santons knee and we have a problem....

I watched just the first half and I wasn't very pleased with our performance. No creativity, no speed. Maybe our players we thinking more about the game on Wednesday instead that one. Judging by your comments about the game at all and the final result I suppose that the second half must have been as disappointing as the first...

inter.it reported that he was out, but then I've read elsewhere that he's not, so I'm not sure.

Diego Milito: "Julio Cesar's mistake when De Rossi scored? These things happen. It happened to me at the end when the ball didn't go in. We wanted to win but we didn't succeed and now we are concentrating on Wednesday's Champions League match."

This is what I respect. Take responsibility when you make mistakes and don't blame others. Grande Diego!

Unfortunately I think we can only blame ourselves for the results today.

As we scored a goal from an evident offside position at Pandev and made several extremely dangerous tackles that could have been sanctioned harsher than they actually were, we can't blame the referee even though some of his decisions favoured Roma.

We can't blame Roma's players and their attitude either (falling at every contact) because we have acted the same when it favoured us. (See Thiago Motta versus Chelsea)

What we can really blame is our horrendous play from the first 40 minutes where Roma did to us what we did to Chelsea on Stanford Bridge.
They pressed us high on the field and prevented us from constructing the offensive phases as we would have liked.

The huge ammounts of fouls and yellow cards from our side only shows how many times Roma's players got into dangerous positions.
We are used to not leading the game with this formation, but we are not used to making such BIG INDIVIDUAL ERRORS(especially Julione's howler and Milito's wasted chance right before Roma's second goal).

Although we were unlucky with our crossbars, I think that these individual errors have lost us the game in the end.

Roma had the lead for most of the game and our desperate search for the equaliser forced Jose to make some changes he wouldn't have done in other conditions.
I'm glad he has the balls for an all-out attack if he needs to, but as we all hailed him when it was the case,I consider him responsable for our weak display in the first half.

Nonetheless, what's done it's done, I'm also very frustated by the result by I trust Jose and his ability to get the most of this team in difficult moments. There are still 7 games to go and we have the best god damn squad in Italy, we are still in the lead, so it's only up to us to win the Scudetto.
