Totti Likely To Return Against Inter

Il Capitano as been working extremely hard in the early stages of this season, as he attempts to make a full recovery from the serious knee injury he sustained on April 19 during his side’s 1-1 draw with Livorno.

He has made a handful of substitute appearances throughout the course of the campaign, however in terms of his knee injury, things have only gotten worse over time.

This was, of course, until yesterday when Totti managed to work for a period of over 30 minutes with the ball, alongside Roma physio Silio Musa, at felt no pain in his knee at all.

In recent days, the Roma medical staff have certainly noted some improvements in the captain’s overall fitness and general strength of the knee and the signs are improving for Totti.

The club's doctors feel that if he recovers well after yesterday’s session and manages to get through training next week, then there's a strong possibility he will be in the starting eleven at the Olimpico next weekend.

The Giallorossi will be pleased with this news, as the club icon's presence is clearly sorely missed, as reflected by their poor position in the standings in the early stages.

Mexes And Panucci Slapped With Ban, Miss Inter Clash

The defenders saw red against Siena in week six as the Giallorossi slumped to another defeat.

The Italian sports judge Gianpaolo Tosel has now slapped hefty bans on both players as well as a fine for the Rome-based club.
