He did contribute to the own goal :D
Yeah, I did say that. Either he would score or the own goal would happen. I'm just saying that he maybe didn't have that great of a game overall, but those two goals turned the whole game. Reminded me of Icardi.

Honestly, I feel this match was only hard because of the rain and nothing else. Physically, technically and tactically Roma couldn't match us at any point during the game.
I disagree with that statement. Roma was the better team in the first half, which makes our comeback even more impressive.

When the high press is done right, this Inter has major issues. How DDR made Roma play was the right way for them. We are just lucky Lukaku was that shit yesterday, otherwise I don't think the comeback would happen.

Also, another game where we didn't concede in the last 15 minutes =)

hate to admit it, but with Derossi Roma played much more entertaining football than they used to play under Mou.

What entertaining football, man? They were just motivated in the first half. We brought them back to reality in the second half.

Don't have one.

Think in first half they legitimately had more energy and played better, even bastoni said it after the game. Don't know if we were trying to be ultra careful because of the rain or, like I said last night, roma deciding to give it all in the first half and praying to god it ends up being enough in the second.

But this team now has fourth, fifth, even sixth gear... It's one of the biggest changes that happened besides massive defense improvement, and it's genuinely remarkable. I remember a time a year ago when we had one gear, and one gear only, and if that gear wasn't enough we would regularly hit a brick wall.

They looked more fluid and maybe if it wasn't for Lukaku's incapabilities and Dybala's total absence, they could have been more dangerous. But I don't disagree with you, they played with higher motivation, especially their Italians.

Attacking football is always entertaining. They were able to create some chances relatively quickly in a first half. But it looks like they suffer "Inter's beginning of the second half" syndrome, where they just switched off for no reason, for around 20 min.
Anyway, they had two solid chances to make it 3-3, but those were wasted by Lukaku.

No way this to offside. Thuram didn't affect the goalkeeper at all

Well actually, not always. Attacking football can be entertaining when you know what you want and have a proper plan.

Roma didn't look concrete to me. We were caught off guard in the first half, which gave them a chance. That atmosphere managed to boost their morale for a certain period as well.

Except of Lukaku's chance on that 1vs1, I don't think they created anything special at all. Spinazzola's shot wasn't even a chance, that was a just a corner kick that brings a trouble, which can happen anytime against anyone.

should have been a penalty!

Also, why didn't the var fucks show the ref the shot behind the goal for the Thuram - Patricio situation? It was very clear that Thuram didn't effect that play at all.
Respect to De Rossi who said the goal is regular and he sees no problem.

Is it insane to say that Sanchez and Arnautovic were halfway decent when they came on? Sanchez especially.

Didn't expect a comeback after second Roma goal. Scudetto is ours now focus on Atletico.
Easy now. We are placed well but it’s far from over.

If we’re still leading by the end of March, then yeah it’s ours. If that’s the case hopefully we’re still alive in the champions league.

It reminds me treble season when we had gone 8 points ahead in February and everyone thought scudetto was secured and we should focus on CL. We ended up praying Roma would drop points somewhere (grazie Fantantonio and Pazzo :D )

We can't let our guard down.

Regarding man of the match, one guy not mentioned that I think had a very good game was Acerbi, for the job he did on Lukaku.

I could be misremembering, but both of Lukaku's chances came after Acerbi was subbed off?

from 5229 votes, almost 2/3 votes went to Thuram and Sommer.
